Commissioners <br />Bell, Chestnut, Grauel, Simerman, Soilee and Swanson were present. Commissioner <br />Hembrez was absent. Tschida, telephoned the <br />secretary on January 3, 1962 regarding the status of the plat. <br />I advised him that the Commission was still waiting for a <br />recommendation from the Hocroation Board. I told him that I <br />would confront tho Hecreation Board in an effort to have a decision <br />on the p1a.t by the next meeting. <br /> <br />Chestnut moved, Soiko seconded, thnt He continue tho preliminary <br />plat of Tschida Owasso Hills Addition uutil our next regular meeting <br />scheduled for February 7, 1962. '1'ho survey indicates that <br />the petitioner is using the south portion of the property for industrial <br />storage purposes which is zoned single family residential. '1'he zoning <br />ordinance requires I~o feet of screening '-1here 11ear lot lines of <br />industrial areas are adjacent to single family residential zones. <br /> <br />Chestnut moved, Grauel seconded, that the secretary be instructed to <br />write a letter to Centruy Fence Company advising that the Planning Comm- <br />ission will consider its request for a variance at our February 7, 1962 <br />meeting and of the consequences if' a company representative does not <br />attend this meeting in support of t his action.
