Commissioners Bell, Chestnut, Grauel, Simerman, Soilee and Swanson were present. Commissioner Hembrez was absent. O'LoughUn, attorney for Hr. Tschida, telephoned the secretary on January 3, 1962 regarding the status of the plat. I advised him that the Commission was still waiting for a recommendation from the Hocroation Board. I told him that I would confront tho Hecreation Board in an effort to have a decision on the p1a.t by the next meeting. Chestnut moved, Soiko seconded, thnt He continue tho preliminary plat of Tschida Owasso Hills Addition uutil our next regular meeting scheduled for February 7, 1962. Carried ummimously. No one attended tho meeting in support of tho request. Century F'ence Company propuses to construct a building 15' by ho' on- the westerly side of its existing building. '1'ho survey indicates that the petitioner is using the south portion of the property for industrial storage purposes which is zoned single family residential. '1'he zoning ordinance requires I~o feet of screening '-1here 11ear lot lines of industrial areas are adjacent to single family residential zones. Chestnut moved, Grauel seconded, that the secretary be instructed to write a letter to Centruy Fence Company advising that the Planning Comm- ission will consider its request for a variance at our February 7, 1962 meeting and of the consequences if' a company representative does not attend this meeting in support of t his action.
