<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMt>nSSION <br /> <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting, April 4, 1962 <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Chestnut called the meeting to order at 8:25 P.M. Commissioners Chestnut, <br />Grauel, Jonason, Membrez and Soike were present. Chairman Bell had an emergency appendect- <br />omy operation and could not attend the meeting. Commissioner Swanson was out of town on <br />business. Planner Dahlgren and Engineer Soutter were also present. <br /> <br />4-4-78 Tschida Owasso Hills Addition located between County Road C 2 and South Owasso <br />Boulevard just east of Western Avenue. <br /> <br />Frank J. Tschida and Harold O'Loughlin, attorney, submitted the preliminary plat for con- <br />sideration. The revised plat consists of Lots 1 to 7, Block 1 and Lots 1 to 27, Block 2, <br />Tschida Owasso Hills Addition. The interior lots on the revised plat has frontages of 86 <br />feet instead of 103 feet as indicated on the original plato <br /> <br />Soike Hoved, Grauel Seconded, that the revised preliminary plat of Tschida Owasso Hills <br />Addition be approved subject to consideration of the engineering problems as set out in <br />Charles Soutter's letter of April 4, 19620 The Commission also agreed to attach a note of <br />recommendation to the effect that Lot 27, Block 2, Tschida Owasso Hills Addition, is <br />designated for park purposeso Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4-4-62 W~lfred C. Berntson application to rezone land from B-1 to B-2 near Lydia and <br />Snelling Avenueso <br /> <br />Wilfred C, Berntson and Daniel Cody, attorney, supported the application for rezoning. <br />Mr. Berntson proposes to construct a pharmacy and one other building on the property 0 The <br />plans provide for 46 parking spaces which conform with the minimum parking requirements. <br />The proposed plan will require a variance to the ordinance to allow vehicle parking five feet <br />from the property line. The front yard set back requirements parking in a B-1 zone is 15 <br />feet, <br /> <br />Mrs 0 E. fie Wi llmus, 1403 Midway Parkway, spoke in favor of the rezoning. <br />Those opposed to the application were~ <br />1) Wayne Ro Burlingame, 2977 Asbury <br />2) John J. Motion carried, Soike abstained, <br />
