<br />-3- <br /> <br />5-2-97 Proposed contract with Midwest Planning & Research, Inc., for the period May 14, <br />1962 to May 13, 1963. The present contract expires May 13, 1962. The proposed <br />contract is basically the same as last year's contract. The Planning Commission <br />can at any time change any condition of the contract during the course of the year. <br />Dahlgren said he would remain as principal planner if the commission desired him to <br />remain in this capacity. <br /> <br />Membrez moved, Swanson seconded, that the proposed contract be approved. Carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5-2-91 Road Study Committee. The committee will consist of nine members with the Village <br />Engineer acting as an ex officio member. Two of the nine members will be members of <br />of the Planning Commission. Chairman Bell appointed the following people to the <br />committee: 1) Roger Toogood, 2795 Galtier Street <br />2) Marvin G. Giesike, 2730 Matilda Street <br />3) Alfred Markham, 2448 N. Chatsworth <br />4) James A. Murchie, 2436 N. ~ascal Avenue <br />5) Arthur W. Soike, 2020 Asbury Street <br />6) Jack L. Chestnut, 3104 Ridgewood, Chairman <br />Three members are still to be appointed. <br /> <br />5-2-91 Screening Requirements: Commissioners Jonason and Swanson will review the plates <br />designating the proposed screening requirements in detail and report to the <br />Commission at the next meeting. <br /> <br />5-2-3 Pylon Signs: Dahlgren handed the Commission his report on pylon signs. The members <br />of the Commission will study the report and make its recommendation at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />5-2-91 Street layout in the industrial area was tabled until the next meeting. <br /> <br />5-2-38 Miscellaneous: The Secretary was instructed to write to the Village Council for <br />an itemized statement of charges placed against the Planning Commission budget for <br />the amounts paid to Midwest Planning & Research, Inc. over and above the $400.00 <br />per month minimum fee. <br /> <br />5-2-83 Membrez moved, Jonason seconded, that the minutes for the Planning Commission meeting <br />of April 4, 1962, be approved.
