<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING Cm1~nSSION <br /> <br />Hinutes of the June 6, 1962 Heeting <br /> <br />8:17 porlo to 10:25 P,M, <br /> <br />Chairman Bell called the meeting to order, Commissioners Bell, chestnut, Grauel, <br />Jonason and ~1embrez were present, Commiss ioners Soike and Swanson were absent, <br />Planner Dahlgren and Engineer Sautter were also presento <br /> <br />6-6-31 Valois Addition located at Skillman and Cleveland Avenues, <br />Peter A. Valois submitted a plat to the Commission for cc',;, deration at the meeting. <br /> <br />Dahlgren stated that Planning Commissions should make every effort to provide access <br />to possible land locked property, When various attempts fail to solve the problem, <br />the commission can not hold up the plat indefinitely, <br /> <br />Sautter pointed out that the new plan did not comply with the minimum square foot <br />requirements and the new plat differed from the one originally submitted, <br /> <br />Secretary's note: ~1r 0 Valois told me that he is no longer owner of the 132.5 X <br />183.0 foot parcel of land at the corner of Skillman and Cleveland Avenues, <br />The new plat consists of Lots 1 to 5, Block 10 These are approximately 323 square <br />feet less than the minimum lot size requirements of 111000 square feet. <br /> <br />Chestnut Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the preliminary plat of Valois Addition be <br />continued at the next meeting in order for Dahlgren to prepare a report on the plat <br />handed to the Commission today for consideration. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6-6-98 Petition submitted by Warren .1, Brennan to rezone land at Lexington Avenue <br />and County Road D from shopping center district to "R-3" and "B-3", <br /> <br />The Commission agreed that the rezoning of land fronting on Lexington Avenue from <br />"SC" to "B-3" was a reasonable request and that the rezoning proposed for the easterly <br />one-half, "SC" to "R-3" would furnish the adjoining residential property owners the most <br />protection from the business district, <br /> <br />Membrez Hoved, Chestnut Seconded, we recommend that the petition submitted by Warren <br />Brennan to rezone land from "SC" to "B-3" along Lexington Avenue and the area in the <br />rear from fISC to R-3" as shown on the proposed plat be approved, Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6-6-92 Reconsider revised development plans and the petition submitted by Wilfred <br />Berntson to rezone land ("B-1" to "B=2"') at Lydia and Snelling Avenueso <br /> <br />Be 11 Moved, Chestnut Seconded ~ that we recommend to the Village Counei I to accept the <br />rezoning of the Berntson property from "B-1" to "B-2" advising that we have reviewed <br />all the obj ections of the property owners in detail and now recommend that the rezoning <br />be approved. Motion carried, Grauel and Jonason opposed the motion, <br />
