<br />=2= <br /> <br />The following recommendation was sent to the Vi llage Counci 1 <br /> <br />Honorab Ie Mayor and Vi llage Cnunci 1 <br />Village of Roseville <br /> <br />Gentlemen: <br /> <br />File No, 92 <br /> <br />This refers to your letter of May 17, 1962>> advising that the Vi llage <br />Council has referred the Berntson Rezoning to the Planning Commission for <br />further consideration as Mrc Berntson has prepared and submitted a revised <br />development plan for the property, <br /> <br />The revised plan conforms to the ordinances in v.cry respect to parking and <br />set back requirements 0 Some of the changes shown on the revised plan are noted <br />as follows ~ <br /> <br />1. TIle building depth has been reduced from 45 feet <br />to 36 feet on the north end and 40 feet on the south <br />end. <br /> <br />20 The rear access and loading area (east side of building) <br />has been eliminated. <br /> <br />3, The depth of the parking set back from the Snelling Avenue <br />right=of=way has been increased to 15 feet as required by <br />the ordinance, <br /> <br />4. The number of parking spaces has been increased from 46 to <br />47 spaceso <br /> <br />The Commission believes that the traffic generated from the development of <br />a retail business at this location will increase in volume but that the antici- <br />pated increase in traffic at the intersection of a major collector street and a <br />state highway should not create a problemo <br /> <br />In view of the abovei the Planning Commission desires to withdraw its recommend- <br />ation made April 9, 1962, and now recommends that the petition as submitted by <br />Mr. Berntson for rezoning be approvedo TIle members of the Planning Commission <br />voted 3-2 in favor of the rezoning, <br /> <br />Albert Wo Grauel, Secretary <br />Roseville Planning Commission <br /> <br />cc-Wilfred Co Bernston <br />Mro James Ro Bell <br />Mr. Richard IV.
