"B I-A" Zoning District and .on will review the memo and 8-1-91 - The Planning Commission agreed to eliminate the subject "street layout in the industrial property" from its agenda inasmuch as the Village Council has not authorized Midwest Planning & Research, Inc. to proceed with preparing the report. 8-1-105 - Chestnut Moved, Grauel Seconded, that we recommend to the Village Council that the screening guides that have been prepared be adopted by resolution in accordance with letter prepared by Howard Dahlgren and that the letter be forwarded to the Council. To: Village Council From: Planning Commission Secretary Subject: File No. 105 - Screening The Planning Commission has considered the question as to how the Village might best implement the screenin}! and landscaping requirements as specified in the zoning ordinance. We recommend that the attached illustrations of screening design standards applicable to the various sections of the ordinance where screen- ing is required be adopted by resolution by the Council. It is the intent that these plates be reproduced at the Village Hall and referred to the propert" owners and developers who are responsible to have such screening devices and landscaping constructed in those situations as called for in the ordinance. Rather than attempting to specify exactly the nature, scale, and extent of planting materials and walls in the ordinance, it is hoped that these illustrative examples will serve as a more effective devise to insure that the required screening is properly accomplished to carry out its intended purpose. The reproduction equipment owned and operated by the Village can be used to reproduce these illustrative plates. The cost of pre- paring the film negatives is estimated at $25.00.
