The applicant abo requests permission to <br />construct the units two..and~one.half stories for motel purposes. <br /> <br />Hembrez moved, Swanson seconded, that we rccoJl1lJlel1l1 to the Village Council that the <br />application submitted by Scott-Daniels Properties, Inc. for a special use permit be <br />denied until such time as they suhmi t a detai led plan indic:ating the 111 tinlate u!'>e of the <br />property. Motion carried. Houle to subdivide Lots 6 and 7) <br />Block 1, Weinholzer's Addition and rezoning of the East 135 feet of Lot 7 and the East <br />135 feet of the South 6 feet of Lot 6, Block 1, Wcinholzer's Addition from R-l to R-2. <br /> <br />Mr. lIoule attended the meeting in support of the plat. <br /> <br />"\ <br /> <br />Swanson moved, r.rnuel seconded, that we recommend to the Village Council that the <br />application submitted by Richard A. Houle for subdivision of existing lots be denied <br />together wi th his request to rezone land from R-l to R..2 inasmuch as we consider this <br />spot zoning. Motion carried. Chestnut voting nay. He objected to considering this spot <br />zoning. <br /> <br />FUe No. 116 - No one appeared at the meetinR to support the application submitted by <br />Norman DeCoster for a special use permit to construct apartme~t buildinp.s on land zoned <br />B-1 at 2279 North lIamli.ne Avenue (Ellinp, Nursery Property). . <br /> <br />Swanson moved, Chestnut seconded, that the public hearing on the special use permit be <br />continued at the December 5. 1962 meeting, Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Secretary's note: Norman DeCoster met with Howard Dahlgren on November 8, 1962 to <br />discuss the lligh,,,ay Department's plans for the proposed interchange at lIighway No. 36 <br />and Ilamline Avenue. Mr. DeCoster agreed there is a need for an interchange at this <br />location and left the impression ,,,i th Dahlgren that he will drop his option to purchase <br />the property. <br />
