<br />o <br /> <br />\) <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />Hembrez rcquested to be excused from the meeting and left the meeting at 9:25 P.M. <br /> <br />File No. 38 - Consideration of retaining churches and schools in the busincss districts <br />of the ordinance by special or permitted uses. <br /> <br />Grauel moved, Swanson seconded. that we recommend to the Village Council that the <br />ordinance be amended by making the following changes in the permitted and special <br />use classifications in the business zoning districts. <br /> <br />B-1 Uistricts - delete: colleges and schools from permitted uses, <br /> <br />add: churches, public and private colle~es and schools as <br />a special use. <br /> <br />B-2 Districts - delete: <br />B-3 Districts - delete: <br />R-I Districts - delete: <br /> add: <br /> <br />colleges, public and private as special uses. <br /> <br />churches as a permitted use. <br /> <br />"museums and galleries" as a permitteJ use and add <br />them as special uses. <br /> <br />"private dancing and music schools conducted in a <br />residence occupied by the proprietor but not involving <br />more than six students at anyone time" as a special use. <br /> <br />Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File No. 117 - Edward J. Bossard attended the meeting in support of the preliminary <br />plat of Edward J. Bossard Plat No.4 located near Fairview Avenue and Aldine Street. <br />The plat was not acceptable as submitted. 1) nine lots were below minimum lot size, <br />2) the walkway was discussed and who would maintain it. 3) the effects of allowinl! <br />two stub end streets abutt the platted lots, 4) the proposed street pattern and how <br />it can be improved. <br /> <br />Chestnut moved. Grauel seconded. that we refer the plat to the Planning Consul tant for <br />his recommendations and report at the next meeting. Carried unanimously, <br /> <br />File No. 114. The Commission requested Dahlgren to prepare a preliminary puide for <br />R-3 Districts covering questionable parcels of land for single family development. <br /> <br />File No. 91 Chestnut will arrange for a meeting with Ivlayor ~lcGec to detcrmine the <br />spccific function of the Road Study Committee. <br /> <br />File No. 50 The proposed B-1 A District was referred to Dahlgren to amend para?rrlphs <br />pertaining to minimum lot size requirements and building height limi tations. nah I f"":'i <br />will also furnish prints indicating the property which will constitute this di st ri " f <br />at the next meeting. <br />
