<br />Minutes of Roseville Planning Commission Meeting <br /> <br />April 3, 1963 <br /> <br />8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Chairman Jonason called the meeting to order. Commissioners Grauel, Jonason, Membrez, <br />Motl, Soike and Swanson were present. Councilman Kustermann and Engineer Hanson were <br />also present. Commissioner Lund and Planner Dahlgren were absent. <br /> <br />File 130 - Kenneth M. Reinhardt application for approval of preliminary plat of <br />Reinhardt Addition together with petition to rezone land from R-l to R-2 and R-l to <br />R-3 near County Road B 2 and Dale Street. ~~. Rein}~ardt was advised that the legal <br />description for the property to be rezoned was not a complete description of the <br />property and that public notices would have to be republished in the newspaper when <br />the correct legal description of the property is available. <br /> <br />Membrez Moved, Swanson Seconded, that the petition submitted by Kenneth Reinhardt <br />for approval of preliminary plat and rezonings of land be continued until the next <br />regular meeting. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File 132 - Application submitted by B-Dale ~1en's Club for rezoning of lot at 2100 <br />North Dale Street from R-l to B-1 District to construct a recreation center. Gerald <br />Christensen and Neil Holmquist spoke in favor of the application to rezone the <br />property. <br /> <br />Soike Moved, Motl Seconded, that we recommend approval of the rezoning requested by <br />the B-Dale Men's Club. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File 133 - Application submitted by Donald V. Roberts to rezone land from R-I to R-3 <br />fronting on Snelling Curve near County Road C to construct a 17-unit apartment building. <br />Messrs. Donald Roberts and John Daubney spoke for the rezoning. Mr. Roberts proposes to <br />build a 2 1/2 story building containing 16 one-bedroom and one two-bedroom apartments. <br />The land area is 31,914 square feet or .73 acre. <br /> <br />Those who spoke against the rezoning were: <br /> <br />1. Howard Germanson, 1489 Rose Place. He submitted a petition containing the <br />names of people in the neighborhood who were opposed to the rezoning. Most <br />of the names on the petition were of people living beyond 250 feet of the <br />property in question. <br /> <br />2. Lawrence Moreland, 2609 Snelling Curve. He requested to have his name stricken <br />from the petition circulated by the Applicant, <br /> <br />3. Fred Hurias, 2533 Snelling Curve. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Soike Seconded, that we recommend that the application submitted by <br />Donald V. Roberts to rezone land from R-l to R-3 fronting on Snelling Curve be approved. <br />Carried unanimously. <br />
