<br />-2- <br /> <br />File 134 - Application submitted by Mrs. Clyde W. Campbell for subdivision of lot at <br />677 West Larpenteur Avenue. ~~. Campbell attended the meeting. <br /> <br />Motl Moved, Soike Seconded, that we recommend approval of Campbell's application for <br />division of an existing lot. <br /> <br />File 135 - Naditch & Sons application for a special use permit to construct a multiple <br />dwelling in a B-1 District at Rice Street and Skillman Avenue. Also variance in building <br />height limits, <br /> <br />File 136 - Petition submitted by Clifford Lund to vacate portions of Albermarle Street <br />and extensions and opening of Skillman Avenue, <br /> <br />Messers Shaw and Lund advised that two 23-unit one-bedroom apartment buildings were to <br />be constructed on the property. A variance in building height from I 1/2 to 2 1/2 <br />stories is requested. <br /> <br />Membrez Moved, Mot! Seconded, that the application submitted by Naditch and Lund be <br />continued until the next regular meeting and that the secretary be instructed to notify <br />the petitioners to meet with Messers Dahlgren and Hanson to discuss the problems of: <br />determining the proper zoning classification of the 30 x 160 foot strip of vacated <br />Albermarle Street; the proposed street pattern for this area and plot plan which will <br />efficiently relate the proposed buildings with the parking lot. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File 137 - Application submitted by Albert Richter to subdivide lot at 1304 Oakcrest <br />Avenue near Hamline Avenue. <br /> <br />Albert Richter, 2471 N. Hamline Avenue, Messers William Bayer and Walter Bauer spoke <br />in favor of the petition. <br /> <br />Swanson Moved, Soike Seconded, that we accept the subdivision of land by metes and bounds. <br />Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File 125 - Jonason read Mr. Richard W. Turnlund's letter of March 29, 1963, concerning <br />request by Zenith Oil Company for a special use permit to construct a service station on <br />property located in the southwest quadrant of the intersections of County Road C and <br />Cleveland Avenue. Mr. Friedman did not attend the meeting. <br /> <br />Membrez Moved, Grauel Seconded, that inasmuch as Mr. Friedman did not attend the meeting <br />in support of the application we recommend to the Village Council that the application <br />for the special use permit be denied. Carried unanimously, <br /> <br />File 114 - R-3 Districts <br /> <br />File 38 - Study of how to fit automobile agencies into the Village Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />A special meeting will be held this month to discuss the above subjects together with <br />proposed amendment to the ordinance pertaining to B 1 A Districts. <br /> <br />File 83 - Swanson Moved, Membrez Seconded, that the minutes of the March 6, 1963 meeting <br />be approved.
