Stophlet of Stophlet Realty Company represented ~~. Ho1tgard at the meeting. <br /> <br />Soike moved, Grauel seconded, that the subdivision of lot be approved subject to <br />Applicant granting the Village an easement for street purposes to the north 30 <br />feet of the lot. It should also be noted by the Building Inspector that the <br />front yard of the proposed lot faces north and that any building constructed on <br />the property should be set back 30 feet from the proposed 30 foot dedication. <br />Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File No. 163 .. John L. Wewers application to replat lots in Joy's Rice Street <br />Addition on Minnesota Avenue near Marion Street. John L. Wewers attended the <br />meeting. He proposes to replat Lots 17 to 32, inclusive Joy's Rice Street Addition <br />into four lots with 75 foot frontages on ~finnesota Avenue. <br /> <br />Soike moved, Grauel seconded, that the revision of lots be approved. Carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />File No. 153 - Jonason moved, Grauel seconded that we advise the Village Council <br />that Messrs. Motl and Soike have been appointed by the Planning Commission to meet <br />with the Village Council and property owners to review state highway department <br />plans for the intersection of Trunk Highway No. 36 and Hamline Avenue and Trunk <br />Highway No. 35 W and Trunk Highway No. 280. The Village Council is to set the time, <br />place and date of the meeting. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Grauel moved, Jonason seconded, that we continue the highway department plans for <br />Snelling Avenue between Midway Parkway and County Road B until the next meeting. <br />Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File No. 114 - Soike moved, Lund seconded, that we authorize Midwest Planning and <br />Research, Inc. to prepare a draft of amendment to the ordinance pertaining to high <br />rise apartments. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File No. 141 - Sigford moved, Motl seconded, that we authorize ~fidwest Planning and <br />Research, Inc. to prepare a draft of amendment to the ordinance pertaining to auto- <br />mobile agencies. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Miscellaneous: Jonason moved to change the voting procedures of the Planning <br />Commission. He proposed to have the Planning Commission vote immediately after each <br />public hearing prior to hearing the next subject on the agenda. This is similar to <br />the way the Village Council proceeds. The motio~ died for lack of a second. <br /> <br />File No. 83 - The minutes of September 4, 1963, should be amended on action concern- <br />ing Bee-Dale, Inc. to read: "Carried unanimously". <br /> <br />~~tl moved, Lund seconded, that the minutes of September 4, 1963 be approved as <br />amended. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Jonason moved, Sigford seconded, that the minutes of the September 18, 1963 meeting <br />be approved.
