Nelson moved, Sigford seconded, that we recommend <br />the rez01i.ing and special use permit. Nelson>> Sigford~ Anderson, MotID"Melilb;rez <br />"Aye", Lund "Nay". Carried by a majority vote. <br /> <br />File 64=181 Division of lot by Anatoli Popov, 250 N. McCarrons Boulevard. <br />The lots meeting the minimum requirements, Anderson moved, seconded by Nelson <br />that we recommend the approval of this request. Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File 64-189 - Rezoning from R-l to B-1 applied by Merrill Stenglein, property <br />at Highway 8 and County Road C-2. Mr. Stenglein stated that he wanted to <br />construct a nursing home according to a preliminary site plan submitted. <br />Anderson moved, Nelson seconded, to recommend the rezoning as requested on <br />the condition that all setbacks as provided in the ordinance be complied with. <br />Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File 64-193 - Request for a Special use permit and density variance by Maurice <br />Goldman~ property at Snelling and Highway 36. Mro Michael>> architect, represent- <br />ing the petitioner submitted a rev.ised plan suggested by our Village Planner, <br />Dahlgren. The variance is for 120 units instead of 108 as originally presented. <br />Nelson moved>> Anderson seconded, that we recommend the approval of the planned <br />development, the special use permit and the density variance subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />10 Dedication of a 50 foot road as shown on the plan <br />2. Grading of this road to be done and paid for by the owner, according <br />to Village specifications. <br />Carried unanimously. <br /> <br />File 64=172 - Rezoning request of Southtown Baptist Church represented by <br />John J. Young. Property located at the Northwest corner of Hamline Avenue <br />and Judith Avenue. It was the consensus of opinion that many problems must be <br />solved before the property can be developed. There is a low area with standing <br />water in the southeast corner of the property similar to the condition on the <br />property east of Hamline Avenue. In his presentation Mr. Young was referring to <br />a letter dated February 26, 1964 from the Village Engineer in which recommendations <br />were made to drain the area. The petitioner is fully aware that before anything <br />else can be done the drainage must be taken care of by himo The question of <br />dedicating 60 feet for a road between the shopping center and the subject prope~y <br />was discussed>> also dedication of 30 feet for Judith Avenue and 10 feet to widen <br />Hamline Avenue. The development proposal submitted requires three different re- <br />zonings. Membrez finally moved, Lund seconded~ that we recommend the zoning as <br />snown on the development proposal, namely>> <br /> <br />I. The westerly portion and southeast corner of the property from R-I to <br />R-3 <br />2. A strip in the center 90' x 150' from R-I to B-1 <br />
