Grauelb Trustee and
DahlgrenD Village Planner were also presento

Chairman Nelson arrived a little late. Membrez called the meeting to order.
Anderson moved, Nelson secondedjl to approve the minutes of the October 7th
meeting as submittedo Motion carried by a unanimous voteo

File 64-235 - Preliminary platD Lake Johanna Homesites #2D Gerald Larsen. This
plat of 3 lots facing Lydia Avenue between Fairview Avenue and Arthur Place was
designed to meet the requirements of the ordinanceD howeverD the proposed lot
Noo 3 is not a fully buildable lotD a major portion of it is occupied by a ponding
area. The frontage of this lot is 250 feet, certainly large enough if some fill
is placed in the low area but not enough to impair the function of the ponding
area. It was moved by Soike, seconded by Nelson, the preliminary plat be
recommended on the conditions, howeverD that the Village Engineer controls the
amount of fill to be placed on this proposed lot No.3. Motion carried by a
unanimous vote 0

File 64-237 Setback variances = William EganD 952 Brooks. The proposed
variances as shown on the planD namely 5 feet instead of 10 feet on the south
side and 20 feet instead of 30 feet around the curve of Brooks AvenueD seem to
be reasonab Ie D therefore D Soike moved, Sigford secondedD to recommend the approval
of these varianceso Motion carried by a unanimous vote,

File 64-238 - Sideyard setbackD Arthur AndersonD 2069 Skillmano This request
is for a 15 foot setback on Cleveland Avenue instead of the minimum 30 feeto There
being no problem with respect to corner visibilitYD Soike movedD Anderson seconded
to recommend the approval of this variance. Carried by a unanimous voteo

File 64-239 - Sideyard variance - Richard ShiraD 1973 Tatumo Mro and Mrs e Shira
stated they wanted to enlarge their existing home with an extension of 12 feet
,on the north sideD thus expanding beyond the 30 foot minimum setback on this corner
lot. Upon questioning the petitioner about the possibility of enlarging this home
in some other fashion, the commission agreed that th~ proposed plan was the most
logical, thereforeD Anderson movedjl Soike secondedD to recommend the granting of
this variance request 0

File 64-190 - Sheehy Re zoning - Lexington Avenue and County Road "D" 0 The matter
had been held up for quite some time because the County of Ramsey had indicated they
may purchase this property to expand the Lake Josephine Parke A resolution of the
County of Ramsey was finally received in which it is indicated that the property is
needed to expand and that they will begin negotiations to acquire itc Under these
circumstances>> Mro RahnD representing Sheehy D was asked if he plans to withdraw the
rezoning request 0 He saidD "No". However D the commission realizing this petition
had been held off long enough, Nelson moved>> Anderson secondedD that we reconunend
the petition to rezone be denied.
