A large group of property owners residing south
of subject property was present to oppose this request. Mr. Ewing, 2171
West Highway 36, spdkesman for the group agreed that some form of develop-
ment other than single family homes is reasonable, however, at present no
one could suggest the best use of the subject property. The group of
property owners requested a little more time to analyze this rezoning.
It was, therefore, moved by Linebarger, seconded by Nelson to continue the
public hearing on this matter at the next regular meeting of the Commission
on June 2, 1965. Motion passed by a unanimous vote.
