<br />Fi Ie 172-65 <br /> <br />-3= <br /> <br />Proposed Development Plan for the property owned by the Southtown <br />Baptist Church, along Judith AvenueD west of Hamline Avenue <br /> <br />The development planp marked #1>> dated May 5>> 1965p for the property <br />recently rezoned from R-I to R-3. B-1 and B-3 submitted by Mr. Young, <br />developer appeared to be acceptable on certain conditions. It was, <br />therefore, moved by L. O. NelsonD seconded by Jim Nelson that we re- <br />commend development plan #1, dated May S, on the following conditions~ <br /> <br />1. Dedicate 30 feet for Judith Avenue and 10 feet to widen Hamline <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />2. Move the space for automobile parking 15 feet southerly of the <br />proposed street "Terrace Drive". <br /> <br />3. No access from Judith Avenue. <br /> <br />4. Driveway for the proposed gas filling station off of Terrace <br />Drive to conform with the Village Code. <br /> <br />Motion passed by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br />Mr. Young was informed that the driveways off of Hamline Avenue, as shown <br />on the plan, must be approved by the Board of County Commissionerso <br /> <br />INTERSECTION PLANS - RICE STREET AND HIGHWAY ##36 <br /> <br />The Highway plans from the State Highway Department were shown to the <br />Planning Commission by Mr. Dahlgren. It was the consensus of opinion <br />that these proposed plans were satisfactory. <br /> <br />INTERSECTION PLANS = COUNTY ROAD C AND SNELLING AVENUE <br /> <br />The Highway plans were shown to the Commission by Mr. Dahlgren. He <br />pointed out the danger of the railroad track at grade and the failure to <br />extend the Service Road on the northwest corner going north to meet exist- <br />ing service south of Lydia. Membrez suggested to hold this matter until <br />new members of the Commission could become more familiar with these pro= <br />posals of traffic at this intersection. HoweverD Nelson moved, Anderson <br />secondedp to recommend that this proposal be not approved.
