=3=

Subject, New Classification I=lA

The property owners affected of the land being considered to be placed in
this new classification I=lA were invited to appear at this meeting to discuss
with the Planning Commission the advisability to change some of their properties
into I-IA. The properties being considered are situated north of Highway 36
between Fairview Avenue and Cleveland Avenue. Those present were Theodore
Schultz~ Art Gluek and Tom Willmus. Their reactions were as follows:

Schultz:

Surrounding uses of his property would limit him under the proposed
I=lA. He 1S opposed to a change~ wants to leave it as it is.

WiUmus:

Opposed to change to I-1A all of his property in this location, but
would go along if the westerly 400 to 600 feet along Cleveland Avenue
would remain as it is.

Gluek:

Wants the matter continued until our next regular meeting July 7,
because of present negotiations with important industries who are
considering buying approximately 28 acres. Does not want to upset
the applecart right now.

After due consideration Membrez moved~ Jim Nelson seconded, to continue this
matter at the July 7th meeting as requested by the property owners. Carried
by unanimous vote.

There being no further businessD the meeting was adjourned.

Respectfully submitted

George A. Membrez
Secretary
