Regular Meeting Roseville Planning Commission Wednesday, July 5, 1967 - 7:30 P.M. Members present: Anderson, Carpenter, Membrez, Nelson and Pope. Absent: Linebarger and Remsburg. Also present: Goldberg, Grauel and Dahlgren. It was moved by Pope and seconded by Carpenter that we approve the minutes of the June 7, 1967 meeting with the following correction: One page 1, Subject File 380-67, Target Stores - the words "Membrez and seconded by" be'added to the next to the last line. Roll Call: unanimous. It was moved by Pope and seconded by Carpenter that in the M~ 3, 1967 minutes Subject file 359-66 be corrected to read "Roll call, 6 - 0 with Membrez abstaining". Roll Call: unanimous. Subject File 265-66 - Angelo Carbone, Special use for amended development plan on site west of Hamline, across from Oakcrest. It was reported by Mr. Goldberg that the utilities plan for the sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer were in order. The Commission was concerned about the N.S.P. high1ine development on the south side of the property'which was the amended development plan dated July 5, 1967. Therefore, it was moved by Nelson and seconded by Pope that we recommend approval of the amended development plan dated July 5, 1967, with the stipulation that the mansered facial be copper. Roll Call: unanimous. Subject File 359-66 - Klosterman Realty - Special use for planned unit development at 2025 West County Road B. It was moved by Pope and seconded by Nelson that we recommend approval of the special use permit for planned unit development provided that they use the'French'Co1onial design with hand split cedar shakes, move the' access road to the: east:~side of the county ditch at County Road B, and take care of the drainage' as per letter from the Highway Department, subject to approval by our Engineering: Department. Roll Call: 4 - 1. Carpenter opposed. Subject File 368-67 Twin Tires, Inc. request for special use permit for'tire re- capping at Fairview Avenue north of County Road C. It was moved by Nelson and seconded by Anderson that we recommend approval of the special use permit for tire recapping in "1-2" District subject'toproper mechanical dust control. Roll Call: unanimous . Subject File 380-67 Target Stores request for special use permit for gas station at 1515 West County Road B. It was moved by Pope and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend acceptance of petitioner's request to withdraw application. Roll Call: unanimous. Subject File 383-67 Zimmerman Realty request for setback variance at County Road B and Pascal. It was moved by Pope and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend acceptance of petitioner's request to withdraw application. Roll Call: unanimous. Subject File 385-67 - Mr. Kroiss and Mr. Gorman, request for side yard variance at 2921 Galtier. Because the Planning Commission felt that this vas an honest mistake and that it would create a hardship on Mr. Gorman if he had to live up to the Village Code, it
