<br />Regular Meeting Roseville Planning Commission <br />Wednesday, July 5, 1967 - 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Members present: Anderson, Carpenter, Membrez, Nelson and Pope. <br />Absent: Linebarger and Remsburg. Also present: Goldberg, Grauel and Dahlgren. <br /> <br />It was moved by Pope and seconded by Carpenter that we approve the minutes of <br />the June 7, 1967 meeting with the following correction: One page 1, Subject File <br />380-67, Target Stores - the words "Membrez and seconded by" be'added to the next <br />to the last line. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />It was moved by Pope and seconded by Carpenter that in the M~ 3, 1967 minutes <br />Subject file 359-66 be corrected to read "Roll call, 6 - 0 with Membrez abstaining". <br />Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />Subject File 265-66 - Angelo Carbone, Special use for amended development plan on <br />site west of Hamline, across from Oakcrest. <br /> <br />It was reported by Mr. Goldberg that the utilities plan for the sanitary sewer, <br />watermain and storm sewer were in order. The Commission was concerned about the <br />N.S.P. high1ine development on the south side of the property'which was the amended <br />development plan dated July 5, 1967. Therefore, it was moved by Nelson and seconded <br />by Pope that we recommend approval of the amended development plan dated July 5, <br />1967, with the stipulation that the mansered facial be copper. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />Subject File 359-66 - Klosterman Realty - Special use for planned unit development <br />at 2025 West County Road B. <br /> <br />It was moved by Pope and seconded by Nelson that we recommend approval of the special <br />use permit for planned unit development provided that they use the'French'Co1onial <br />design with hand split cedar shakes, move the' access road to the: east:~side of the <br />county ditch at County Road B, and take care of the drainage' as per letter from the <br />Highway Department, subject to approval by our Engineering: Department. Roll Call: <br />4 - 1. Carpenter opposed. <br /> <br />Subject File 368-67 Twin Tires, Inc. request for special use permit for'tire re- <br />capping at Fairview Avenue north of County Road C. <br /> <br />It was moved by Nelson and seconded by Anderson that we recommend approval of the <br />special use permit for tire recapping in "1-2" District subject'toproper mechanical <br />dust control. Roll Call: unanimous . <br /> <br />Subject File 380-67 Target Stores request for special use permit for gas station at <br />1515 West County Road B. <br /> <br />It was moved by Pope and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend acceptance of <br />petitioner's request to withdraw application. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />Subject File 383-67 Zimmerman Realty request for setback variance at County Road B <br />and Pascal. <br /> <br />It was moved by Pope and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend acceptance of <br />petitioner's request to withdraw application. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />Subject File 385-67 - Mr. Kroiss and Mr. Gorman, request for side yard variance at <br />2921 Galtier. <br /> <br />Because the Planning Commission felt that this vas an honest mistake and that it <br />would create a hardship on Mr. Gorman if he had to live up to the Village Code, it <br />
