Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />Subject File 389-67 - Ban-Con, Inc. request for rezoning from "R-l" to "R-6" for <br />property east of Dale Street and north of County Road C. <br /> <br />It was felt that the "R-6" zone would be a good buffer between the "R-3A" and <br />the "R-1" so it was moved by Pope and seconded by Anderson that we recommend approval <br />of the rezoning from "R-1" to "R-6". Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />Subject File 390-67 Altman and Huiras request for rezoning from "R-1" to "R-3A" <br />and special use permit for structure exceeding 24 units located south of County Road <br />C between Snelling Avenue and Snelling Curve. <br /> <br />Mr. Goldberg reported on the sewer and water facilities and 'commented on the <br />drainage plan and the access to the property. Of the approximately 20 people <br />attending the hearing the following spoke: Mr. Phillip'Bourne, Mrs. Phillip Bourne, <br />Thomas O'Rorak, George Cooke, Carl Browstrom, Art Cooper, Harold Reiling. Questions <br />covered were: parking,'traffic, drainage, danger'to children, access, devaluation <br />of property, width of roads, condition'of roads, and too'many'apartments'inRosevi11e <br />now. It was finally moved by Anderson and seconded'byPope'that'we recommend approval <br />of the'rezoning'from "R-1" to "R-3A" and to issue a special use permit for'structure <br />exceeding 24 units. O'Neil request for approval of preliminary plat located <br />south of Lovell Avenue between Grotto Street and Dale Street. <br /> <br />There appeared to be no reason vhy the proposed development would not be an asset <br />to the community if developed in single-family fashion as proposed so it was moved <br />by Anderson and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend approval of the preliminary <br />plat located south of Lovell Avenue between Grotto Street and Dale Street.
