Dougherty request for division of lot at 216l West <br />, County Road B. <br /> <br />It was moved by Membrez and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend approval of this <br />request for division of lot at 2161 West County Road B, subject to checking if lot <br />could be made 10' wider and the checking of the abstract for deed restrictions. Holcombe request for approval of special use permit for <br />... . <br />a funeral home at 2224 North Albert Street. <br /> <br />Mr. Gustav A. Larson of Felhaber, Larson, Fenlon and Vogt, Attorneys at Law,represented <br />Mr. Earl J. Holcombe. A very poor plat plan was presented. It had very little thought <br />put into it. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Blumberg stated that he was opposed to this request because it would front on <br />his apartments and that this type of building would be out of context for this property. <br />It may even cause problems for the nursing home. Mr. Larson did state that Mr. Hanson <br />from the nursing home had to leave because of the late hour but he indicated that he was <br />against the funeral home. <br /> <br />Mr. Schiller, 1383 Sandhurst Drive, stated that he and Mr. Hall and Mr. Goneau would <br />not object if the right type of building went in here. Mr. Jerry Tuckner and <br />Mrs. Schiller wanted good screening and would rather have a funeral home than more <br />apartments here. <br />
