""-... <br /> <br />Bonanza Steak House request for variance in sign setback at <br />1895 North Rice Street <br /> <br />This variance called for a reduction in side yard setback from 20' to 3'. The feeling <br />of the Commission was that this was too much. Therefore, it was moved by Pope and <br />seconded by Edlund that we recommend denial of the request. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />Subject File 425-68 Lyons and Kruse request for rezoning from R-l to R-3A and special <br />"'- a. -- t~1t-.........._......... <br />use permit for building over 23 units. <br /> <br />Because of a technical problem in the publishing of the description of the property <br />it was moved by Anderson and seconded by Remsburg that we lay this over until our next <br />regular meeting in April. Kruse at <br />- _u~, . -.---- . 1122 West County Road B-2 <br /> <br />It was moved by Anderson and seconded by Remsburg that we lay this over until our next <br />regular meeting in April. Ban-Con, Inc. request for variance in setback at 2409 Cohansey St. <br /> <br />Mr. Gene Hughes, Vice-President of Ban-Con, Inc. requested a 4' variance on the north <br />side of the property so that a larger home could be constructed on this lot. Mr. Richard <br />Mackey of 2415 Cohansey and Mr. John Charlson from across the street asked a few questions <br />and seemed to agree that the setback should be on the south side. <br /> <br />It was moved by Remsburg and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend to the Council <br />that they allow a 4 foot variance on the south side of the property while retaining the <br />10 foot setback as required by the ordinance on the north side. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />~N~~t_!j}e ~.?,9-6~ <br /> <br />Ban-Con, Inc. request for variance in parking setback at County <br />Road C and Mackubin. <br /> <br />Mr. Ted Glassrud, President of Ban-Con, Inc. stated that the townhouses would have double <br />garages and therefore, have more than enough parking spaces to meet the ordinance but he <br />feels that he would require a few more parking spaces and needs this variance in order <br />to put them in. <br />
