Kirchoff request for division of platted lot located south <br />of County Road C and est of Avon Street <br /> <br />The only question here appeared to be the dedication of 10' for widening of County Road C <br />so <br /> <br />It was IOOved by Pope and seconded by EdlW1d that we recomnend to the Council that they grant <br />this request for division of lot subject to the dedication of 10' for the widening of County <br />Road C. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />Subject File 476-68 - Boutell's request for variance to sign regulations for the soutllwest <br />corner of Highway 36 and Hamline Avenue. <br /> <br />Mr. M:;Cline of the Nordquist Sign Company ma.de the presentation for the sign variance. I-Ie <br />requested a pylon sign 40' high within 15' of the property line. He later reduced this <br />figure to 25' high. It was pointed out that Boutell's had said that they would not need <br />any sign variations when the property was rezoned for them. After discussion it was agreed <br />that they should abide by the regulations for the time being so <br /> <br />It was moved by Edlund and seconded by Remsburg that we reconmend to the Council that they <br />deny this request for sign variance. Roll Call: lU1animous. <br /> <br />Subject File 477-68 - DOIUlay-Schreiber request for vacation of the south three feet of the <br />street along the north side of their property located at the south\\est <br />corner of Cope Avenue and Dale Street. <br /> <br />As this was plotted as a 66' street there appeared to be no problems involved in this <br />reques t so <br /> <br />It was IWved by Demos and seconded by Edlund that we recoJIUTend to the Council that they <br />grant this request for vacation of the south 3' of the street along the north side of their <br />property. Roll Call, unaniIWus. <br /> <br />Subject File 479-68 - Harold Haglund request to appear before the Planning Commission re- <br />garding renaming of Old Highway 8 to Forest Lake Cutoff. <br /> <br />After discussion <br /> <br />It WclS moved by Edlund and seconded by Pope that we recorrmend to the Council that they have <br />.f'.1r. Turnlund contact St. Anthony Village and New Brighton Village to see if they would go <br />along with the name of Forest Lake Cutoff. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />The Olairman stated that he was having calls from the people regarding our decisions and he <br />recommended that copies of our report to the Council be sent to the applicants with ~lis <br />notation made on ~le copy sent to the Council. <br /> <br />There being no fur~ler business it was moved by Pope and seconded by Remsburg that we adjourn. <br />Roll Call: unanimous.
