<br />Regular Meeting - Roseville Planning Commission <br />Wednesday, December 4, 1968 - 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Members present: ~~mbrez, Anderson, Carpenter, Demos, Edlund, Pope and Remsburg <br />Members absent: None <br />Also present: Curley, Goldberg and Peickert <br /> <br />It was moved by Edlund and seconded by Demos that we accept the minutes of November 6, <br />1968 as submitted. Roll Call, unanimous. <br /> <br />. Sublect 'File 473-68 - State of Hinnesota Highway Department request for approval of <br />preliminary plan for overpass at Victoria Avenue and T.H. 36. <br /> <br />It was moved by Edlund and seconded by Remsburg that we lay this over until our next <br />meeting. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />.Subject File 483-68 - O'Dell-Peterson (Kloster-Madsen, Inc.) request for rezoning from <br />R-l to R-3A and Special Use Permit for planned unit development <br />at 3030 North Cleveland Avenue. <br /> <br />Mr. David Bennett, the architect, said that they had changed the plan so that the retain- <br />ing wall on the north was now a slope. The dis tance from the building to the property line <br />was 80 feet at the Cleveland Avenue side. He stated that the property was big enough to <br />allow 142 units but that they were asking for only 112 units. Investment would be about <br />$10,000 per unit. There would be 88 parking stalls wder the building and 24 parking <br />stalls in the garages. Floor space would be 850-900 square feet for the two-bedroom <br />apartments and 720-795 square feet for the one bedroom apartments. <br /> <br />Mr. Curt Moline, 3082 North Wilder, asked about the parking problem as related to Cleveland <br />Avenue. Mr. Richard Smith, 3069 North Wilder asked what this would mean to the Village's <br />701 Program. Mr. Willis Baulke, 3070 North Cleveland, thought that the land should be <br />left a5 shown on the 701 Plan. After discussion, <br /> <br />It was moved by Demos and seconded by Edlund that we recommend to the Council that they <br />deny this request for rezoning and special use permit. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />.SubjactFile '.485.;68 - Janet Bigham, Division of lot at C and Wheaton. <br /> <br />No apparent problems were uncovered so after discussion, <br /> <br />It was moved by Remsburg and seconded by Carpenter that \ve recommend to the Council that <br />they grant this request for division of lot subject to the filing of a plat plan with the <br />Village. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />, 'SUb.ject 'rile '494~68 - M. Muehlstedt, Division of a lot at 743 West County Road G. <br /> <br />nle Janet Bigham property is part of the .whole piece under consideration so <br /> <br />It was moved by Remsburg and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend to the Council that <br />they grant this request for division of lot subject to the filing of a plat plan with <br />the Village. Roll Call: unanimous. <br />
