Regular Meeting - Roseville Planning Commission Wednesday, December 4, 1968 - 7:30 P.M. Members present: ~~mbrez, Anderson, Carpenter, Demos, Edlund, Pope and Remsburg Members absent: None Also present: Curley, Goldberg and Peickert It was moved by Edlund and seconded by Demos that we accept the minutes of November 6, 1968 as submitted. Roll Call, unanimous. . Sublect 'File 473-68 - State of Hinnesota Highway Department request for approval of preliminary plan for overpass at Victoria Avenue and T.H. 36. It was moved by Edlund and seconded by Remsburg that we lay this over until our next meeting. Roll Call: unanimous. .Subject File 483-68 - O'Dell-Peterson (Kloster-Madsen, Inc.) request for rezoning from R-l to R-3A and Special Use Permit for planned unit development at 3030 North Cleveland Avenue. Mr. David Bennett, the architect, said that they had changed the plan so that the retain- ing wall on the north was now a slope. The dis tance from the building to the property line was 80 feet at the Cleveland Avenue side. He stated that the property was big enough to allow 142 units but that they were asking for only 112 units. Investment would be about $10,000 per unit. There would be 88 parking stalls wder the building and 24 parking stalls in the garages. Floor space would be 850-900 square feet for the two-bedroom apartments and 720-795 square feet for the one bedroom apartments. Mr. Curt Moline, 3082 North Wilder, asked about the parking problem as related to Cleveland Avenue. Mr. Richard Smith, 3069 North Wilder asked what this would mean to the Village's 701 Program. Mr. Willis Baulke, 3070 North Cleveland, thought that the land should be left a5 shown on the 701 Plan. After discussion, It was moved by Demos and seconded by Edlund that we recommend to the Council that they deny this request for rezoning and special use permit. No apparent problems were uncovered so after discussion, It was moved by Remsburg and seconded by Carpenter that \ve recommend to the Council that they grant this request for division of lot subject to the filing of a plat plan with the Village. Muehlstedt, Division of a lot at 743 West County Road G. nle Janet Bigham property is part of the .whole piece under consideration so It was moved by Remsburg and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend to the Council that they grant this request for division of lot subject to the filing of a plat plan with the Village.
