<br />-3- <br /> <br />It was moved by Edlund and seconded by Carpenter that we recommend to the Council that <br />they deny this request for variance. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />Subject File 492-68 - Clarence Krueger, relocation of building and division of lot at <br />. 2262 St. Stephens Avenue. <br /> <br />Mr. Bernard Litman, attorney, said that the lot was l30' x 270' so that the divided <br />lots would each have 17,550 square feet. Be said that the Village has a request to <br />open Pulham Street now and a hearing would be held on January 20, 1969. ~1r. Floyd <br />Foslyn, 2176 Rosewood Lane, said that he was in favor of the split. Dr. TI1ayer, 2295 <br />West Laurie Road, was opposed to the request. The main discussion centered on the <br />creation of a lot that had no access to a public street. After discussion, <br /> <br />It was moved by Anderson and secondeu by Edlund that we recommend to the Council that <br />they grant the division of lot as requested subject to the completion of Fulham Street. <br />Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />Because the house was already on the property and there was legal proceedings started <br />regarding the moving of the house, it was the consensus of the Commission that this was <br />not a function of the Planning Commission ~ no action was taken regarding the movement <br />of an existing structure. <br /> <br />Subject File 493-68 <br /> <br />Slawik Enterprises - rezoning and special use permit at Snelling <br />and County Road C, <br /> <br />At the request of the~titioner it was moved by Anderson and seconded by Edlund that <br />we lay this over until our next meeting. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />, 'Slib)e~tFi,le495-68 - Calvary Baptist Church - rezoning at 2120 North Lexington Avenue. <br /> <br />Mr. Chuck Schwab and Mr. Jack Kraus spoke for the church. They said that since the storm <br />sewers had been installed they now can use the property to the east of the church for <br />parking. They would like to sell their property on the north side of Burke. They have <br />lined up a buyer who would like to build a Country Kitcl1en restaurant and a drive-through <br />dairy store. The value of the development would be about $300,000. <br /> <br />Mr. Richard Peterson, Paul B. Carlson, ~'Iro Bastien, Mr. John Kellema, !vIr. James Kor, <br />Mr. Harold Studnick, Mr. Percy Uavidson, appeared in opposition based mainly on the <br />increase in the traffic problem. After discussion, <br /> <br />It was moved by Edlund and seconded by Remsburg that we recommend to the Council that <br />they grant the request for rezoning from Ral to B-2 as requested. Roll Call: unanimous. <br /> <br />It was moved by Edlund and seconded by Remsburg that we recommend to the Council that <br />they approved the site plan subject to the traffic control study and recommendation to <br />be made by the Public Works Director and subject to an approved landscaping plan being <br />submitted. Roll Call, unanimous 0 <br /> <br />There being no further business it was moved by Remsburg and seconded by Carpenter that <br />we adjourn. Roll Call, unanimous.
