Roll Call, Ayes: Carpenter, Demos, Eagles, :ffilund, Johnson, <br />rope and Membrez. Nays:: None. <br /> <br />Plannin~ File ~10-6q - Minnesota Highway Department request for renaming of St. Croix <br />Street north of T.R. 36 <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />This matter was originally brought to the attention to the Planning Commission <br />at their meeting of May 7, 1969, with the intent that the Commission members would <br />return to the June meeting with several suggestions for the renaming of St. Croix <br />Street. The State Highway Department feels that-,the present designation of st. Croix <br />Street would be ineffective in directing traffic into the area which is served pri- <br />marily by industrial property. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Chairman Membrez asked for any proposed names from the members of the Planning <br />Commission. The only two that were brought up for discussion were "Industrial Road" <br />and "Enterprise D:>ad". <br />Eilund Moved, Demos Seconded, to rename st. Croix Street north of T.H.36 to <br />"Enterprise Road". Roll Call, Ayes: Demos, Eagles, :ffilund, Nays: Carpenter, <br />Jopnson, rope and Membrez. Motion lost. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Johnson Moved, Pope Seconded, that the renaming of St. Croix Street north of <br />T.H.36 be "Industrial D:>ad". Roll Callj Ayes: Carpenter, Johnson, Pope and Membrez. <br />NaYSj Demos, Eagles and :ffilund. lvbtion carried. <br /> <br />Planning Commission File 521-69 - Richard Schreier and Preston Brenon request for var- <br />iance to setback on Lots 10 thru 16, Block 1 - Owassodale Addition <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Schreier and Mr. Brenon presented a new plan for the setbacks on Lots 10 <br />thru 16, Block 1, Owassodale Addition.
