<br />Roseville Planning Commission <br />September 3, 1969 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission of September 3, 1969, was <br />called to order at 7:33 P.M. <br /> <br />Commission Members Present: Johnson, Demos, Eagles, Edlund, Membrez <br /> <br />Others Present: Councilman Grauel, Consultant Planner Dahlgren, Public Works Director <br />Goldberg, Assistant Village Manager Sills. <br /> <br />Commission Members Absent: Pope and Carpenter <br /> <br />Edlund Moved, Eagles Seconded, that the minutes of the August 6, 1969, meeting be <br />approved as submitted. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Eagles, Edlund, Membrez. Nays: <br />None. Abstentions: Demos. <br /> <br />Planning File 529-69 - Waylander and Larson request for special use permit to allow <br />certain sales (antique, handicrafts and gifts)in a B-1 zone at 2201 North Lexington <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mrs. Jo Anne Larson, owner of the proposed property, indicated that she had nothing <br />further to add at this point concerning the operation but would be happy to answer any <br />questions that anyone may have. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Gene Krause, 2167 North Lexington Avenue, asked a question concerning the type of <br />building and business that would be conducted at this address. It was stated that the <br />existing building would stay and be remodeled for the antique, handicraft and gift sales. <br />There was also a question as to what would happen to the old garage in the rear of the <br />property. It was stated that the garage would be torn down and that the area in the rear <br />would be used as a small parking lot. There was no further discussion on tkis matter at <br />this time. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Eagles Moved, Johnson Seconded, that we recommend that the Way lander and Larson request <br />for special use permit to allow certain sales (antiques, handicrafts and gifts) in a <br />B-1 zone at 2201 North Lexington Avenue be approved subject to the condition that the <br />permit applies only to the existing building. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Demos, Eagles, <br />Edlund, Membrez. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 535-69 - George Reiling request for preliminary plat (Kimberly Park) at <br />~elnei Urlve and bale Street. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. George Reiling stated that his preliminary plat meets all the requirements in the <br />Village Code. He stated that he had reviewed the plat with both the Planner and the <br />Engineer and that he was attempting to subdivide 10 lots in this area. <br /> <br />Discussion <br />r - <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that all the lots proposed meet the square footage requirements. <br />There was some question as to the temporary cuI de sac on the extreme east end of the <br />property. The preliminary plat indicated a temporary cuI de sac with a SO foot radius <br />
