Roseville Planning Commission ~~eting Wednesday, November 5, 1969 The regular Planning Commission meeting of November 5, 1969, was called to order at 7:35 P.M. Commission Members Present: Others present: Johnson, Demos, Edlund, Membrez. Councilman Grauel, Consultant Planner Dahlgren, Public Works Director Goldberg, Inspection Superintendent Kluege 1, Assistant Vi 11age Manager 5i 11s. Commission Members Absent: Pope, Carpenter and Eag les Edlund Moved, Demos Seconded, that the minutes of the October 1, 1969 regular meeting be approved as submitted. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Demos, Edlund and Membrez. Nays: None. Edlund Moved, Demos Seconded, that the minutes of the special meeting of October 9, 1969, be approved as submitted. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Demos, Edlund and Membrez. Nays: None. Planning File 549-69 - Edwin J. Kuhne request for approval of pre liminary plat, IVoodlyn Court Addition at approximately 3047 Woodlyn Court. Presentation Mr. John Daubney, Attorney representing Mr. Edwin Kuhne, indicated they had met with the Roseville Park and Recreation Board at their last regular meeting. Mr. Daubney requested that the report of the Park and Recreatim Board be read and made a part of the record. The report indicated that the Park and Recreation Board was sti 11 interested in acquiring the entire portion of land owned by Mr. Kuhne as shown in the "701 Program". However, the report indicated that no funds were available for the purchase of this property at this time. Secondly, the report indicated that the Park and Recreation Board would recommend denying any exchange of property as proposed by Mr. Kuhne. Mr. Daubney indicated that in view of this report from the Park and Recreation Board, perhaps Mr. Kuhne could now consider some other method of developing this property. He indicated that the only possible way was to have street access off Woodlyn Avenue. Discussion Mr. Membrez indicated that the Commission was in a position to make a recommendation on the preliminary plat as originally submitted by Mr. Kuhne and that the Commission would not like to consider any alternative proposals at this time. He felt that the Commission should make a recommendation to the Village Council based on the report from the Park and Recreation Board and that the final decision on any exchange of property would have to be made by the Village Council. Mr. Daubney indicated that he was in complete agreement with this and that he would like to appear before the Village Council with the idea of some possible exchange of property to completely develop this preliminary plat. Recommendation Edlund Moved, Demos Seconded that we recommend that the request of Edwin J. Kuhne for approval of preliminary plat of Woodlyn Court at approximately 3047 Woodlyn Court be denied, Roll Call~ Ayes: Johnson, Demos, Edlund, Membrez. Nays: None.
