<br />~5~ <br /> <br />live in the houses that were being constructed there. It was felt that Heinel Drive was <br />desirable to be developed as a road and Schivanno must dedicate it. At this time Mr. <br />Membrez moved and Mr. Pope Seconded, that the Village staff be appointed to do a survey of <br />the development of Heinel Drive to determine its future use because so much of the develop= <br />ment of that area depends on the development of the road. Roll Call, Ayes: Kellettg <br />Johnson, Demos, Pope, Edlund, Eagles, ~1embrezo Nays~ None. Motion passed 7 = O. <br /> <br />Mro Edlund Moved, Mr. Pope Seconded, that the Schivanno Shores Preliminary Plat and <br />rezoning be denied. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Demos, Pope, Edlund, Eagles and Membrez. <br />Nays: Kelletto Motion passed. 6 ~ I. <br /> <br />The reasons are as follows: Mro Edlund felt that the rezoning procedure in this area was <br />definitely a spot rezoning concept and he was strongly opposed to ito Mr. Membrez expressed <br />disappointment in the fact that many of the citizens considered persons who were renters to <br />be second class citizens and he did not like that general attitude. Mrc Johnson felt this <br />was also an example of spot zoning which he did not like and wanted the feasibi Ii ty on Heinel <br />Drive to be done, and although there was trouble with it in the past, clarification was needed <br />at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Kellett also felt he was opposed to the spot rezoning and wished to have the situation <br />clarified as soon as possib Ie. <br /> <br />Motion to adjourn was made at I: 16 AoM., July 2, 1970o <br /> <br />Ch al rman <br /> <br />--+-" <br /> <br />ATTEST~ <br /> <br />Xdmlnlstratlve Asslstant <br />
