<br />-2- <br /> <br />Planning File 590-70 - Frank Leier request for rezoning from R-l to R-2 at 2530 Snelling <br />Curve <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Leier showed an architect's rendering of the proposed double bungalow and indicated <br />that he planned to rent one side and reside in the other himself. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Thomas Rohricht, 2541 North Pascal, felt there should be an assurance that the completed <br />bungalow would be the same as the one proposed. He also indicated that the north 23 feet <br />of the legal description published in the Notice of Public Hearing is not included in the <br />property purchased by Mr. Leier. Therefore, that 23 feet should not be rezoned to R-2. <br /> <br />Recormnendation <br /> <br />Mr. Kellett moved and Mr. Pope seconded, that the Commission recotllnend approval of the re- <br />zoning from R-l to R-2 subject to correction of the legal description. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Kellett, Johnson, Demos, Pope, Edlund, Eagles, Membrez. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 591-70 - Fridholm Construction Company request for sign variance at 1076 <br />County Road B <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Roger Groth, representing Fridholm Construction Company, asked that the request be laid <br />over until the next Planning Co~ssion meeting. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Eagles moved and Mr. Pope seconded, that the request for sign variance at 1076 County <br />Road B be laid over until the next Planning Cormnission meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, <br />Johnson, Demos, Pope, Edlund, Eagles and Membrez. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 592-70 - Richard Coverdale rezoning request from R-l to R-2 at 1760 North <br />Hamline Avenue <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />No one was present to represent Mr. Coverdale. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Edlund moved and Mr. Pope seconded, that the request for rezoning from R-l to R-2 at <br />1760 North Harnline Avenue be laid over until the next Planning Commission meeting. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, Johnson, Demos, Pope, Edlund, Eagles and Membrez. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Plannin~ File 593-70 - Maurice Mandel, Inc. request for rezoning from R-1 to R-3A and <br />special use permit at 210 South McCarrons Boulevard <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Bernard Herman and Mr. Dick Cottie of Herman and Cottie, Architects, represented <br />Mr. Mandel. Mr. Herman presented the Commission a petition for rezoning signed by 13 <br />property owners within 250 feet of the proposed rezoning. He indicated that the apartment <br />would be three stories, contain 78 apartment units, and space for 78 autos in underground <br />
