The proposal would cause some hardship for the residents both east and west of Snelling since they would be required to travel a considerable distance out of their way. Mro Goldberg suggested that the matter be referred to the Village staff, and the staff could then meet with the Highway Department and the Village of Arden lIills concerning the pro- posal. . Mr. Edlund expressed concern about placing signals at Snelling and Hamline considering the high speed of traffic on Snelling at that point.
