Aeeting <br />Wednesday, September 1, 1971 <br /> <br />The September 1, 1971, regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Conmission was <br />called to order by Chainnan Membrez at 7:30 P.M. Members present: Eagles, Demos, <br />Pope, Johnson and ~mbrez. Kellett and Edlund arrived at 7:40 P.M. <br />Members absent: None. <br /> <br />Others Present: Councilman Gale Linebarger, Public Works Director Shennan Goldberg, <br />Midwest Planning representative Dick Dwinell and Administrative Assistant Steve North. <br /> <br />Planning File 639.71 .. Land and Properties, Inc. preliminary plat of "Palasides" <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />The applicant was not present. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Carl Vapauer, 498 West County Road B, asked if after the plat was approved, the <br />corporatioo would be selling apartments to individual tenants. <br /> <br />Mr. Membrez indicated that to the best of his knowledge that would not be occurring. <br /> <br />Mr. Goldberg, Village Engineer, stated that the preliminary plat does not indicate <br />a drainage easement on the east side of the property north of COUl1ty Road B and a <br />100 foot x 100 foot piece to acconunodate a tum-a.round for the 5m 36 service drive <br />at the northwest comer of the property 0 Ie indicated that these two items should be <br />included prior to approval of the plat. <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Hartman inquired as to why Land and Properties was platting the property now <br />that the buildings were almost c~leted. <br /> <br />Mr. Membrez respooded that this procedure was not uncormnon. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartman also indicated that a great deal of junk remains around his house including <br />plywood, building blocks, etc. He expressed concern over when the area would be <br />cleared and cleaned up. <br /> <br />Recomnendatioo <br /> <br />Mr. Eagles Moved and Mr. Pope Seconded, that the Conmission recomnend approval of <br />Land and Properties preliminary plat "Palasides" with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That a drainage easement be provided on the east side of the property <br />as approved by the Public Works Director <br /> <br />2. That a 100' x 100' area to accommodate a tum-a.round for the sm 36 <br />service drive be provided in the northwest comer of the property. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Edlund, Eagles, DeIOOS, Pope, Johnson and Membrez. Nays: None. <br />Abstention: Kellett. <br /> <br />Planning File 640.71 .. Mort Huber request for special use pennit on amended planned <br />unit development at 700 West County Road B <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. John Newell, representing Mr. Huber, indicated that Mr. Huber was requesting an <br />moondment to the original planned tmit development at the southwest intersection of <br />County Road B and Dale Street. <br />
