Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, <br />pope, Jolmsoo and Edlmd. Nays: Demos and Membrez. <br /> <br />Planning File 659-71 - Fotomat Corporatim request for variance to front yard set- <br />back and penni tting J001'e than one principal building on one <br />lot at 1526 West County Road B <br /> <br />presentatioo <br /> <br />Mr. Ivan Edelman, representing the Fotomat Corporaticn, asked if there were any <br />questions about the proposed development. <br /> <br />Discussioo <br /> <br />Mr. l\1embrez stated that the traffic problem in the area of Comty Road B and <br />Snelling has reached almost a crisis level. ~ felt that any additicnal development, <br />such as this proposal would only intensify the existing problem. ~ added that he <br />could not.. vote in favor of this proposal. <br /> <br />Mr. Edlund stated he was also opposed to the application. <br /> <br />Mr. Nonnan, owner of the DX Station at which the Fotomat building would be located <br />indicated that he could not see the great increase in traffic problems as expressed <br />by Mr. Membrez. <br /> <br />Mr. Douglas, representing Har Mar Mall, stated that they -were opposed to theappli- <br />catioo, he indicated that photo services were provided in numerous places in the <br />Village. It was his cootentioo that the development would be a deteriment to Har <br />Mar Mall. <br /> <br />Reconmendaticn <br /> <br />Mrs. ~JOOS moved and Mr. Edltlld seconded, that the Commissicn reconmend denial of <br />Fotomat Corporation's request for variance to front yard setback and pennitting <br />more than one principal building on one lot at 1526 West COtD1ty Road B. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Kellett, DeJOOs, Pope, Johnson, Edlund and Membrez. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 660-71 - Review of Ordinance relating to Day Care Centers <br /> <br />Mr. Membrez appointed Mrs. DeJOOS to study and review the ordinance and prepare a <br />recomroendatioo for the Conmission' 5 next regular meeting. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Mr. Edlund moved and Mr. Pope secooded, that the meeting be adjourned at 10:00 P.M. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, Demos, Pope, Johnson, Edlund and Membrez.
