-5- Mrs. Demos felt that because the lot is located on Cleveland Avenue and there is an apartment complex across Cleveland, that a buffer area is needed. The large lot would provide that buffer and, therefore, should not be divided into smaller portions. Mr. Membrez indicated that the resulting lots, after division, were three times what is required by the Village Code and, therefore, he was not opposed to the division. Mr. Pope indicated that he would be in favor of the division of the lot. Recommendation Mrs. Demos Moved and Mr. Eagles Seconded, that the Commission re- commend denial of William Taubert's request for division of a lot at 2215 North Cleveland. Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, Demos and Eagles. Nays: Kellett, V. Johnson, Membrez and Pope. The motion was defeated. Mr. Kellett Moved and Mr. V. Johnson Seconded, that the Commission recommend approval of William Tau~ert's request for division of a lot at 2215 North Cleveland with the following conditions: I. That the hearing on the division of the lot before the Village Council occur subsequent to the public improvement hearing on the sewer and water extensions to be held on March 14, 1972. 2. That an easement be provided for water a~ required by the Village Engineer. Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, V. Johnson, Membrez and Pope. Nays: G. Johnson, Demos and Eagles. Planning File 660 - Review of Ordinance relating to Day Care Centers Mr. Dwinell, Midwest Planning representative, presented a report on suggested regulations and ordinance relating to day care centers. After considerable discussion the Commission instructed the Planner to prepare an additional report for presentation at the next regular Planning Commission meeting. Adjournment Mr. Membrez Moved and Mr. Eagles Seconded, that the meeting be adjourned at 9:50 P.M. Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, G. Johnson, V. Johnson, Membrez, Demos, Eagles and Pope. Nays: None.
