<br />- 5 - <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Pope stated that he felt the project before the Commission was well conceived <br />and that it would be a good development. He stated that he was torn very deeply by <br />the socio-economic problems which are also involved in an application of this nature. <br />Mr. Archie Eagles indicated that the Commission should be considering the application <br />on its merits and not be involved with how the application is going to financed or <br />taling about the people who are going to live there. He felt that the development <br />as proposed was a good one. <br />Mr. Vern Johnson indicated that the Commission cannot divorce itself from the fact <br />that the proposal will be financed by "236" funding. He indicated that he was opposed <br />to the losing of the property tax under the program. <br />Mr. Kellett indicated that he felt the development was a good proposal. He indicated <br />that he would vote in favor of the development. <br /> <br />Recommenda ti on <br />Mr. Eagles moved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that the Commission recommend approval of <br />Michels Construction request for rezoning from R-l to R-3A and special use permit <br />for planned unit development at 1400 West County Road C-2. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Eagles, Kellett and Pope. Nays: Demos, G. Johnson and V. Johnson. <br />Abstentions: Membrez. <br /> <br />Planning File 698 - Richard Unger Preliminary Plat "Unger Addition" 526 South Owasso <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br />Presentation <br />Mrs. Unger indicated that she proposes to plat the property into 10 single family lots. <br />The plat is bordered by the Heinel Drive and South Owasso Boulevard. <br /> <br />Recommenda ti on <br />Mr. Eagles moved and Mr. V. Johnson seconded, that the Commission recommend approval <br />of Richard Unger's prel iminary plat "Unger Addition", 526 South Owasso Boulevard. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Membrez, Demos, Eagles, Kellett, G. Johnson, V. Johnson and Pope. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 696 - Russell S\^/anson prel iminary plat 115\^1anson Shores" at 599 South <br />Owasso Boulevard. <br /> <br />Presentation <br />Mr. Swanson indicated that he plans to plat the property into 17 lots, 5 of which are <br />on Lake Owasso. <br /> <br />Recommenda ti on <br />Mr. Membrez moved and Mr. Eagles seconded, that the Commission recommend approval of <br />Russell Swanson's preliminary plat "Swanson Shores" at 599 South Owasso Blvd., with <br />the condition that a drainage easement be provided along the south line and north line <br />of Lot 2 thru 5, Block 2, and Lot 6 thru 10, Block 2 as stipulated by the Village <br />Engineer. Roll Call, Ayes: Membrez, Demos, Eagles, Kellett, G. Johnson, V. Johnson <br />and Pope. Nays: None. <br />
