<br />Rosevil1e Planning Commission <br />Wednesday, October 4, 1972 <br /> <br />The October 4, 1972, regular meeting of the Rosevi1le Planning Commission was <br />called to order by Chairman Pope at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Members present: <br />Members absent: <br />Others present: <br /> <br />G. Johnson, V. Johnson, Membrez, Demos, Kellett and Pope. <br />Eagles <br />Councilman Albert Grauel, Public Works Director Shennan Goldberg, <br />Midwest Planning Representative Dick Dwinell and Administrative <br />Assistant Steve North. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Mrs. Demos moved and Mr. Membrez seconded, that the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of September 6, 1972, be approved with the following amendment: <br /> <br />Planning File 714 - Recommendation... add the following. . . <br />3. that the outdoor sales area shall be open a maximum of three months <br />during the summer growing season for the sale of lawn and garden <br />supplies and for a maximum of six weeks during the Christmas tree <br />sales season. Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, V. Jolmson, Membrez, <br />Demos, Kellett and Pope. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 690 - Study of Noise Level at the Interchange of Highways <br />36-280-35W <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />The Minnesota State Highway Department is still working on their proposal for <br />alleviation of the noise problem at the interchange of Highways 36-280-35W. <br /> <br />Reconnnendation <br /> <br />Mr. G. Johnson moved and Mrs. Demos seconded, that the study of noise level at <br />the interchange of Highways 36-280-35W be laid over until the next regular <br />Commission meeting and that the Minnesota Highway Department be invited to have <br />representatives in attendance at the regular November Planning Commission meeting <br />for purposes of providing a status report on their study of the noise problem. <br /> <br />Planning File 722 - Wallace Mailand and Robert Johnson request for special use <br />pennit and variances at 1045 Larpenteur Avenue. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Chairman Pope presented a list of conditions which could possibly be placed on <br />the special use pennit which is being requested by the applicant. He outlined <br />the conditions as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the developnent be constructed and completed precisely as shown on the <br />site plan. <br />2. That if the Village Council should detennine that additional parking spaces <br />are needed in the future, the property owner will assure that the spaces are <br />provided. <br />3. That no more than two people shall reside in a one bedroom apartment. <br />
