Two of the
lots would be on the lakeshore.

Discussion

Mr. Pope pointed out that the two lakeshore lots were 68 feet in width and, therefore,
did not meet the code requirement of 85 feet. He stated, however, that the two lots,
because of their great length, contain approximately 17,000 square feet each, far
exceeding the ordinance requirement of 11,000 square feet.

Recommendation

Mrs. Demos moved and Mr. Eagles seconded, that the Connnission reconnnend approval of
Ethel Foster's preliminary plat "Foster Shores" at 595 Heinel Drive. He stated that the smaller
of the two lots would be used for a single family dwelling by his son, and that his exist-
ing home would be on the larger lot.

Discussion

Mr. Pope indicated that the neighborhood in which the lot division is being requested
is a strip of single family residential which is isolated by Highway 36 to the south,
connnercial/industrial property to the west and north, and Highway 35W to the east.
