<br />Roseville Planning Commissivfi Minutes <br />Wednesday, March 7, 1973 <br /> <br />The March 7, 1973, regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission was called <br />to order by Chairman Pope at 7: 30 P.M. <br /> <br />Members present: <br />Members absent: <br />Others present: <br /> <br />G. Johnson, Membrez, Demos, Eagles and Pope. <br />Kellett and V. Johnson <br />Councilman Albert Grauel, BSEH and Associates representative <br />Don Christopherson, Midwest Planning Representative Dick Dwinell <br />and Administrative Assistant Steve North. <br /> <br />Approval of Mimtes <br /> <br />Mr. G. Johnson moved and Mrs. Demos seconded, that the minutes of the regular meeting <br />of February 7, 1973, be approved, with the following amendment: <br /> <br />Planning File 736 - Discussion, Page 2, paragraph 2, should read: <br />"Mrs. Demos indicated that she would not vote to recommend approval <br />of live entertainnent for this establishment. She indicated that there <br />was too wide a variety of entertainment available. She also stated that <br />she was opposed to the rezoning because she considered it to be a spot <br />rezoning." <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, Membrez, Demos, Eagles and Pope. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 738 - Norman Horton request for preliminary plat approval "Horton <br />Lakeshores" at 625 Heinel Drive <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Horton indicated that he proposed to plat four lakeshore lots on Heinel Drive. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Pope stated that the square footage of all four lots exceeded the requirements <br />of the code but that the front footage of 70 feet is below the code requirement of <br />85 feet. <br /> <br />Mr. Membrez indicated that the other plats along Heinel Drive had been approved with <br />approximately 70 feet in frontage. He felt that this was a reasonable proposal. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Membrez moved and Mrs. Demos seconded, that the Commission reconunend approval <br />of Norman Horton's request for preliminary plat "Horton Lakeshores" at 625 Heinel <br />DRive. Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, Membrez, Demos, Eagles and Pope. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 739 - 740 and 741 <br /> <br />Chrysler Realty Corporation request for special use permit at <br />2805 Highway 35W, rezoning from I-I to B-3 at 2775 and 2777 Long <br />Lake Road and special use permit at 2777 Long Lake Road <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Jean Parranto represented the Chrysler Realty Corporation. Mr. Parranto indicated <br />that Chrysler is seeking a special use permit for the property at 2805 Highway 35W for <br />the purpose of constructing a new car sales and service center. He stated that the <br />applicant is also seeking a rezoning from I-I to B-3 at 2775 and 2777 Long Lake Road <br />
