Mr. Parranto
stated that 2777 Long Lake Road where the special use pennit would apply was to be pur-
chased by Chrysler Realty for use of storage of new and used cars and that no sales
would occur on that parcel. He indicated that a rezoning was being sought on the
entire property (2775 and 2777 Long Lake Road) because it was intended that a Volvo
dealership would be constructed on the front portion in the future.

Mr. Parranto indicated that Chrysler is not currently requesting a variance to sign
height or size for the parcel at 2805 Highway 36, because that is the responsibility
of the corporate identity division of Chrysler Corporation. He stated that in the
future a variance request may be made.

Discussion

Mr. Membrez asked how the lot at 2777 Long Lake Road would be utilized.

Larry Ely of Chrysler indicated that it would be used only for the storage of new and
used cars and perhaps for employee parking. No sales would occur on thatparcel.

Mr. Eagles asked if a division of the lot was necessary between parcels 2775 and 2777
Long Lake Road since the rear portion (2777) was being sold to Chrysler and the front
portion (2775) would be retained by the present owner. Mr. North indicated the
Village Attorney had ruled that since no public access was available for the back
portion of the lot which was to be sold, that no division of the lot WB:s"necessary.
The Attorney also ruled that since no public access was planned there could be no
building constructed at 2777 Long Lake Road.

There was considerable discussion regarding the advisability of granting a special use
permit for the 2777 Long Lake Road lot which does not have public access. Mr. North
will get a written legal opinion from the Village Attorney regarding Reed for the
division of the lot which will be presented to the Village Council when they 1mve
their hearing on the subject application.

RecOOllIlendation

Mr. G.
