<br />Roseville Planning Commission Minutes <br />Wednesday, April 4, 1973 <br /> <br />The April 4, 1973, regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission was called <br />to order by Chairman Pope at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Members present: G. Johnson, Demos, Eagles, Kellett and Pope. Membrez arrived at <br />8: 00 p.m. and V. Johnson arrived at 8 :10 p.m. <br /> <br />Members absent: None <br /> <br />Others present: Councilman Albert Grauel, Midwest Planning representative Jim Uttley <br />and Administrative Assistant Steve North <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Mrs. Demos moved and Mr. G. Johnson seconded, that the minutes of the regular meeting <br />of March 7, 1973, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, Demos, Eagles and Pope. <br />Nays: None. Abstentions: Kellett. <br /> <br />Planning File 743 <br /> <br />- Twin Tires request for variance to rear yard setback at <br />2760 North Fairview Avenue <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Greg McGoff represented the applicant and indicated that the variance was needed <br />so that the distance between the existing building and the proposed building would be <br />sufficient to permit trucks to make turns between the two buildings. The proposed build- <br />ing will be used for tire recapping on the main floor and storage in the basement. <br /> <br />Mrs. MadW'lich, owner, indicated that the materials presently stored outside would be put <br />inside when the new building was completed and that the area will be given a general <br />cleanup. She also stated that she would be willing to dedicate the additional 10 feet <br />on the east side of Fairview for the proposed widening. <br /> <br />Reconnnendation <br /> <br />Mrs. Demos moved and Mr. G. Johnson seconded, that the Connnission recommend approval of <br />Twin Tires request for variance to rear yard setback at 2760 North Fairview Avenue with <br />the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That 10 feet of additional right-of-way be dedicated on Fairview Avenue <br />2. That outside storage is not permitted and the materials currently stored outside <br />nn.lst be placed inside the new building when completed <br />3. That the property be given a general cleanup <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, Demos, Eagles, Kellett and Pope. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 744 - Elmer Wolkerstorfer request for division of lot at 271 Capitol View <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Wolkerstorfer plans to divide the existing lot so that a single family home can be <br />constructed on the newly created lot. He indicated that he would be willing to dedicate <br />an additional 10 feet for right-of-way purposes along Capitol View Drive. <br />
