Roseville Planning Commission j~inutes Wednesday, August 1, 1973, The August 1, 1973, regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission was called to order by Chairman Pope at 7: 30 P.M. Members present: Members absent: Others present: Eagles, Kellett, G. Johnson, V. Johnson, Membrez, Demos and Pope. None Midwest Planning representative Howard Dahlgren, Public Works Director Charles Honchell and Administrative Assistant Steve North Approval of Minutes Mr. Membrez moved and Mr. G. Johnson seconded, that the minutes of the regular meeting of July 11, 1973, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Eagles, G. Johnson, Membrez, Demos and Pope. Nays: None. Planning File 770 - Fire Station No. 3 - Site Selection Presentation Mr. North indicated that the Village Planner, Fire Department Personnel and the Village staff are continuing to study the site selection for Fire Station #3. He recommended that the matter be continued tmtil the regular September meeting. Reconnnendation Mr. Membrez moved and Mrs. Demos seconded, that the selection of a site for Fire Station # 3 be laid over tmtil the regular September Commission meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Eagles, Kellett, G. Johnson, Membrez, Demos and Pope. Nays: None. Planning File 765 - Hyman Freightways and Indianhead Truck Lines request for rezoning and special use permit at 2690 North Prior and 1947 West COtmty Road C Presentation Mr. North presented a letter from the applicant requesting that their application be with- drawn. Recommendation Mr. Membrez moved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that the Commission recomnend approval of Hyman Freightways and Indianhead Truck Lines request for withdrawal of their application. Roll Call, Ayes: Eagles, Kellett, G. Johnson, Membrez, Demos and Pope. Nays: None. Planning File 768 - Martin Rykel request for variance to side yard setback at 2445 Aglen Presentation Mr. Rykel indicated that he is requesting approval to construct a single car garage within three feet of his south property line. The required setback is 5 feet. Mr. Rykel pre- sented a letter from his neighbor on the side where the garage would be constructed indicating that the neighbor was not opposed to the variance. Reconnnendation Mr. Kellett moved and Mrs. Demos seconded, that the Comnission reconnnend approval of Martin Rykel's request for variance to side yard setback at 2445 Aglen Street. Roll Call, Ayes: Eagles, Kellett, G. Jolmson, Membrez, Demos and Pope. Nays: None.
