<br />-6- <br /> <br />Planning File 782 - George Reiling request for permit for the excavation of shore- <br />line for improvement purposes at 653 thru 669 Heinel Drive and <br />approximately 2850 Victoria <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mro Reiling indicated that he has applied to the Department of Natural Resources of <br />the State of Minnesota for a permit to do the excavation. He has been advised by <br />that department that it is necessary that he receive the approval of the Village. <br />Mr. Reiling indicated that he plans to do the excavation and develop the property in <br />the future. Mr. Reiling is presently constructing a house for himself on one of the <br />lots on Heinel Drive. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. G. Johnson moved and Mr. V. Johnson seconded, that the Connnission recommend <br />approval of George Reiling's request for a permit for excavation of shoreline for <br />improvement purposes at 653 - 669 Heine1 Drive and approximately 2850 Victoria, and <br />further recommends that if the permit is approved that Ramsey County be notified of <br />the action relating to the parcel on Victoria since that property is part of the Ramsey <br />County Open Space program. Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, G. Johnson, V. Johnson, Membrez, <br />Demos, Eagles and Pope. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 783 - Paul Larson request to amend the zoning ordinance to allow <br />photography studios as special use in B-1 zoning district. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that photography studios would be in keeping with other special <br />uses in the B-1 zoning district. The requirement of a special use permit would also <br />provide the Village with control of the use. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr, Kellett moved and Mr. Eagles seconded, that the Village zoning ordinance be amended <br />to include photography studios as a special use in the B-1 zoning district. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Kellett, G. Johnson, V. Johnson, Membrez, Demos, Eagles and Pope. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 771 - Review of Sign Ordinance <br /> <br />Reconnnendation <br /> <br />Mr, Kellett moved and Mr. V. Johnson seconded, that the review of sign ordinance be <br />laid over until the next regular Connnission meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, <br />G. Johnson, V. Johnson, Membrez, Eagles and Pope. Nays: Demos. <br /> <br />Plarming File 709 - Capital Improvement Program Plarming <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr, North provided the Planning Commission members with a packet of materials relating <br />to the development of the Capital Improvement Program which could be reviewed prior <br />to the next regular Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Recommendat ion <br /> <br />Mr. Go Johnson moved and Mr. Eagles seconded, that the Capital Improvement Program <br />planning be laid over until the next regular Commission meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Kellett" G. Johnson, V. Johnson, Membrez, Eagles and Pope. Nays: Demos. <br />
