Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 785 - Richard Chappell request for special use permit and division of <br />lot at 1895 West Perimeter Drive <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. George ~~Cormack, representing Mr. Chappell, indicated that they propose to develop <br />a Goodyear TEA Center on the parcel. Mr. McConnack indicated that there is more than <br />sufficient parking on the site. The normal requirements for a TEA Center is 4 parking <br />spaces for each bay in the building which would mean 24 spaces for their facility. <br />Thirty-one spaces have been provided. <br /> <br />RecoITmendation <br /> <br />Mr. Kellett moved and Mrs. Demos seconded, that the Commission recommend approval of <br />Richard Chappell's request for special use permit and division of lot at 1895 West <br />Perimeter Drive. Abstain: Eagles. <br /> <br />Planning File 786 - Edward Stepan request for variance to side yard setback at <br />2866 North Griggs <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Stepan illdicated that he presently has a 14 foot garage and desires to expand it <br />to 24 feet. He stated that the new addition would come within five feet of the side <br />yard property line. He also stated that the gutters would continue around the new <br />addition as on the present garage. Mr. Stepan felt that he could not get by with less <br />than a 24 foot garage. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. V. Johnson moved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that the Commission recommend approval <br />of Edward Stepan's requst for variance to side yard setback at 2866 North Griggs. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: V. Johnson, Demos, Eagles, Kellett and G. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 787 - Richard Coverdale's request for rezoning from R-l to R-4 at <br />1755 Dellwood <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Coverdale indicated that he proposes to construct two triplexes on the property <br />involved. He indicated that he plans to extend Dellwood Avenue and cuI de sac it at <br />the south end of the property in question. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that the applicant also has four additional lots to the south <br />and it is very important that a total development plan for all the vacant property in <br />the area be considered. In addition, the determination as to which streets to improve, <br />and if any street right-of-way should be vacated, is an important one. <br />
