Mr. Carlson indicated that they were not tied to any particular exterior material and that there would be. no request. for a free standing TBAsince the principal building includes facilities for an automotive center. Mr. Mike Matson, 2700 North Pascal, expressed concern about the traffic which would be generated by theconnnercial activities in the proposed development and that it would create traffic problems and traffic jams in the area. He stated that the residential neighborhood, of which. he is a.part, on the east side of Pascal Avenue, was becoming an island. He also expressed concern about the pond which is located on the northeast corner of the property with. respect to the. drainage. of materials from the parking lot of the Zayre Store.. to.. the pond,. and questioned the effects of such drainage, He presented a petition to the Commission signed by residents indicating their opposition to the re- zoning. Recommendation Mrs. Demos moved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that Venture Theatre's request for rezoning from R-l and B~l to.B~l:-B.and.R:-l, Special Use Permit and Preliminary Plat at 2660 North Snelling Avenue be laid over until the next regular Commission meeting. Discussion Several residents from. the neighborhood around Langton Lake were present. and expressed interest in working with the Village in the preparation of the. shoreline ordinance. It was suggested that. they could select representatives who could meet with the Village Planner when he. has his regular appointments on Wednesday mornings, in the Village Hall.
