Johnson seconded, that the minutes of the regular meeting <br />of December 5, 1973, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Eagles, Kellett, V. Johnson and <br />G. Johnson. Nays: None. Abstain: Grauel. <br /> <br />Planning File 797 - Williams Bros. Pipeline Company request for special use permit <br />at 2511 North Lexington Avenue <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />~ <br />V <br /> <br />Mr. Don Berry, representing Williams Bros. Pipeline, indicated he had met with the <br />city staff and planner as recommended by the Planning Commission at the last meeting. <br />As a result of those discussions WillL:nns Bros. will construct a wood cedar fence in <br />place of the chain link fence That was originally proposed and will leave most of the <br />existing trees or, the sHe, "lheIc will probably be oilly one larger tree removed. <br />. Mr. Berry stated that additional landscaping will be provided for screening purposes. <br /> <br />DiscUSSlOl1 <br /> <br />Mr. Q:rdon Rohrbacher, 1139 Brooks and Mr. Gerald-Schmidt, 1123 Brooks, indicated they <br />felt this proposal was a vast improvement over the original plan and that it would be <br />satisfactory addition in the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Grauel moved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that the Commission recommend approval of <br />William Bros. Pipeline Company's request for special use permit at 2511 North Lexington <br />Avenue. Roll Call, Ayes: Eagles, Kellett, Grauel, V. Johnson and G. Johnson. Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br />Planning File 791 - Venture Theatre request for rezoning from R-1 and B-1 to B-1-B and <br />R-1, special use permit and preliminary plat. ' <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. RoUie Crawford, Attorney representing the applicant, briefly reviewed the appli- <br />;, ian. Mr. Bruce Carlson, Vice President of Venture Theatres, indicated that the <br />.er in the pond located on the property is presently not drinkable.
