<br />Gene Parranto and John Wall, representatives for the owners of the proposed motel,
<br />reviewed the various applications that had been made for this proposal, They
<br />indicated that through an oversight, a variance for height limitation had not been
<br />applied for at the time the request was originally heard by the Planning Commission,
<br />

<br />Mr. George Membre~ asked where other units such as this are located.
<br />
<br />Mr, Grauel questioned what the proposed price range of the motel would be and if they
<br />had a referral service similar to the Holiday Inn or a like franchise,
<br />
<br />Mr, Marvin Hanson, 2597 North Cleveland, questioned placement of sign location and
<br />driveway locations for access to the property,
<br />
<br />Mrs, Hardy, Manager of the Holiday Inn, questioned if there was a sufficient amount of
<br />parking provided and if a feasibility study had been done on the proposed motel.

<br />Mr, V, Jolmson moved and Mr, Grauel seconded, that the Commission recommend approval of
<br />the variance to height limitation at 2562 North Cleveland Avenue, Roll Call, Ayes:

<br />Mr, Pope indicated that he had been in contact with Mayor Linebarger and the Mayor
<br />had indicated that since the new City Manager, Jim Andre, has had extensive experience
<br />in the development of Long Range City Development Plans, he should be given the
<br />opportunity to provide input into the Planning Cornmissiono
<br />
<br />Recommendation
<br />
<br />Mr, Kellett moved and Mro Grauel seconded, that the Long Range City Development Plan
<br />be laid over until the next regular Commission meeting, Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett,
<br />Membrez, Durgin, Graue l, G, J olmson, V, J alms on and Pope, Nays: None,
