<br />Planning Commission Minutes <br /> <br />March 5, 1975 <br /> <br />The March 5, 1975, regular meeting of Roseville Planning Commission was called to <br />order by Acting Chairman G. Johnson at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Members present: G. Johnson, Kellett, Membrez, and V. Johnson. Cushing arrived <br />at 7:35 p.m. and Grauel arrived at 9:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Members absent: <br /> <br />Durgin <br /> <br />Staff present: <br /> <br />Midwest Planning Representative Howard Dahlgren, Assistant City <br />Engineer Terry Kramer, and Assistant City Manager Steve North. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Mr. V. Johnson moved and Mr. Membrez seconded that the minutes of the regular meeting <br />of February 5, 1975, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: V. Johnson, Membrez, and G. <br />Johnson. Nays: None. Abstain: Kellett. <br /> <br />Planning File 877 - Art Gluek request for division of lots at 1909 and 1910 <br />Gluek Lane. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. William Mueller representing Mr. Gluek indicated that they desire to divide <br />the lots so that they c8UJd be sold. He stated that people today cannot afford <br />to buy large lots and build a house at the same time. Mr. Mueller indicated that <br />an ~isting lot on Gluek Lane is .77 of an acre. He stated that the four new <br />lots creaed by the divisions would all be .87 acre or more. Mr. Mueller commented <br />that there are no deed restrictions on the two lots proposed to be divided. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Membrez stated that some of the residents on Gluek Lane have written letters <br />stating that they were told at the time they bought ther lots that none of the lots <br />in the subdivision could be divided. Mr. Mueller stated that he made no such state- <br />ments at the time of selling the other lots and made no promises that the remaining <br />lots would not be divided. <br /> <br />Mr, G. Johnson inquired if there were any time limitations on the restrictions <br />in the deeds on the lots that have already been sold. Mr. Mueller indicated that <br />he didn't know what was in each individual deed. Mr. V. Johnson asked what the <br />specific restrictions were on the lots that have already been sold. Mr. Mueller <br />indicated that he could not remember the specific restrictions. <br /> <br />Mr. Donald Bucher, 1981 Gluek Lan~ indicated that the restrictions that were placed <br />on his deed expIred in 1965. Mr. Frank Hasselman, 1900 Gluek Lane, stated that when <br />he bought his lot it was made very clear to him, by Mr. Mueller, that no lots of the <br />subdivision would ever be divided. Mr. Robert Baker, 1926 Gluek Lane, stated that <br />when he bought his lot in 1958, that he had looked at all the vacant lots on Gluek <br />Lane and that he had been told by Mr. Mueller that none of the vacant lots could be <br />divided. <br /> <br />Mr. V. Johnson suggested that perhaps the reason for concern on the part of the citi- <br />zens was that if these two divisions were approved, other lots on Gluek Lane with <br />
