Mr. Mueller stated that he did not believe there <br />were any lots with an existing home large enough to be divided and have another home <br />built. <br /> <br />Mr. Pat Flaherty, 1935 Gluek Lane, commented that the center area of Gluek Lane cannot <br />be compared to the lots on the outside. He stated that if those two lots were <br />divided, it would destroy the symmetry of the area. Mr. Francis Colletti, 1930 Gluek <br />Lane, indicated that dividing the lots would create problems for the property owners <br />next to the lots. <br /> <br />Mr. Membrez stated that he was serving on the Planning Commission or Council when this <br />plat was considered, and that the plat looked good then and that it still does and <br />that he felt that the application should be denied. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. Membrez moved and Mr. Kellett seconded that the Commission recommend denial of <br />Art Gluek's request for division of lots at 1909 and 1910 Gluek Lane. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: V. Johnson, Kellett, Membrez, Cushing, and G. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 878 - George Reiling request for division of lot at 899 Millwood Ave. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. George Reiling indicated the he proposes to divide his lot in half leaving two <br />lots, each 297 feet deep and 106 feet wide. Both lots meet the requirements of the <br />City Code. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Membrez commented that the newly created lots would be the same size as other ex- <br />isting lots in the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr. V. Johnson moved and Mrs. Cushing seconded that the Commission recommend ap- <br />proval of George Reiling's request for division of lot at 899 Millwood Avenue. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: V. Nays: None, <br /> <br />Planning File 879 - Ban-Con, Inc. request for variance to temporary sign requirement <br />at 2345 Rice Street <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Paulette Weike represented Ban-Con, Inc. She indicated that Ban-Con had previously <br />received a variance which permitted them to have this sign until December 31, 1974. <br />She stated that because of economic conditions, Ban-Con is requesting that the sign <br />remain in place until December 31, 1975. The office building is presently 67% occu- <br />pied. She agreed that the sign would be straightened and maintained when the snow <br />is gone. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />
