<br />-4- <br /> <br />he thought the application was merely for a parking variance, He did not realize that <br />it involved considerably more than that until he received the Planner's reports, <br />He stated that he was sure had the notice been more explicit there would have been <br />considerably more residents at the meeting, He requested that the application be <br />continued until the next meeting and that new notices be mailed to the property owners <br />again, <br /> <br />Mr, North indicated that If the notice was not clear that it was his fault, ann 110 <br />apologized to the people involved, <br /> <br />Mr, Bernsten, Northwestern College PresIdent, indicated that they wouLl !10t Like to see <br />considerat ion by the Planning Commission contInued for a month hocause of the InflatIOnary <br />rlse in prices and the fact that they would like to get into more specLflc planning of <br />thelr facilities, <br /> <br />Mr,:> Demos suggested that if the item were continued until the June 4th Commission <br />meeting and new notices were mailed, that the notices could also include notice of a <br />Council hearing for the June 9th Council meeting, Therefore, the applicant would not <br />lose any time, <br /> <br />The Commission decided that the hearing should be continued, <br /> <br />The applicant then made a short informal presentation of the application, <br /> <br />Recommendat Ion <br /> <br />ML G Johnson moved and f1r RukaVlna seconded, that Northwestern College's request <br />for special use permit and variance to parking at 3003 North Snelling Avenue be <br />continued to the June 4th Commission meeting, and that new notices of the hearing be <br />maIled which include more specific information regarding the application, and that it <br />be recommended that the Council hearing be advertised in the same notice for the Council <br />meeting of June 9, 1975, Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, Mastel, Cushing, Go Johnson, V, <br />Johnson, Rukavina and Grauel. Nays' None, <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Mr, Kellett moved and Mrs Cushing seconded, that the meeting be adjourned at 9;45 P,M, <br />Roll Call. Ayes~ Kellett, Mastel. Cushing, G, Johnson. V, Johnson. Rukavina and Grauel, <br />Nays: None, <br />
