<br />-5- <br /> <br />Mr. Kugler indicated that he needs the musetun addition a great deal and that the <br />extra space is needed for lecturing. <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren stated that perhaps Mr. Kugler could utilize one of the double garages <br />for storage until the musetun was moved. <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that he felt a 2 foot setback for the proposed garages was <br />reasonable. <br /> <br />Mr. Grauel acknowledged that the museum was a very fine facility and that the service <br />provided to the school children was certainly very worthwhile but that he did not feel <br />that the addition to the museum should be constructed. <br /> <br />Mr. V. Johnson indicated that it might be a good idea to build the addition to the <br />museum since it would create an even line with the garages. <br /> <br />Mr. Kugler stated that he was going to paint the museum when he painted the garages. <br /> <br />Mr. Kellett corrmented that he would support the application based on the applicant <br />improving the condition of the musetun. <br /> <br />Mr. Grauel indicated that he felt the addition to the musetun would remain for many <br />years and that all we would be doing is prolonging a problem. <br /> <br />Reconnnendation <br /> <br />Mr. V. Johnson IOOved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that the Conmission reconmend approval <br />of William Kugler's request for variance to rear yard setback at 1124 and 1144 Dionne <br />Street with the condition that the site be cleaned up and that the exterior of the <br />musetun be repaired and made reasonably presentable. Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, <br />V. Johnson, Kellett, Rukavina and Cushing. Nays: Mastel and Grauel. <br /> <br />Other Items <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren made a 10 minute presentation to the Corrmission regarding the concept of <br />reduced lot sizes. After considerable discussion the Commission decided to continue <br />consideration of the matter until the next Planning Conmission meeting. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina moved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that the meeting be adj ourned at 11: 35 fM. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, V. Johnson, Kellett, Rukavina, Mastel, Cushing and Grauel. <br />Nays: None. <br />
