-5- Mr. Kugler indicated that he needs the musetun addition a great deal and that the extra space is needed for lecturing. Mr. Dahlgren stated that perhaps Mr. Kugler could utilize one of the double garages for storage until the musetun was moved. Mr. Dahlgren indicated that he felt a 2 foot setback for the proposed garages was reasonable. Mr. Grauel acknowledged that the museum was a very fine facility and that the service provided to the school children was certainly very worthwhile but that he did not feel that the addition to the museum should be constructed. Mr. V. Johnson indicated that it might be a good idea to build the addition to the museum since it would create an even line with the garages. Mr. Kugler stated that he was going to paint the museum when he painted the garages. Mr. Kellett corrmented that he would support the application based on the applicant improving the condition of the musetun. Mr. Grauel indicated that he felt the addition to the musetun would remain for many years and that all we would be doing is prolonging a problem. Reconnnendation Mr. V. Johnson IOOved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that the Conmission reconmend approval of William Kugler's request for variance to rear yard setback at 1124 and 1144 Dionne Street with the condition that the site be cleaned up and that the exterior of the musetun be repaired and made reasonably presentable. Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, V. Johnson, Kellett, Rukavina and Cushing. Nays: Mastel and Grauel. Other Items Mr. Dahlgren made a 10 minute presentation to the Corrmission regarding the concept of reduced lot sizes. After considerable discussion the Commission decided to continue consideration of the matter until the next Planning Conmission meeting. Adjournment Mr. Rukavina moved and Mr. Kellett seconded, that the meeting be adj ourned at 11: 35 fM. Roll Call, Ayes: G. Johnson, V. Johnson, Kellett, Rukavina, Mastel, Cushing and Grauel.
