<br />Roseville Plarming Commission lIfinutes <br />Wednesday, October I, 1975 <br /> <br />The October 1. 1975 regular meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission was called to <br />order by Chairman Grauel at 7:30 P,M, <br /> <br />Hembers present: <br />Members absent: <br />Staff Present~ <br /> <br />Kellett, Rukavina, Cushing, G, Johnson and GraueL <br />Mastel and V, Johnson, <br />Howard Dahlgren, Terry Kramer, Steve North <br /> <br />Approval of Hinutes <br /> <br />~~. Kellett moved and ~1rs. Cushing seconded, that the minutes of the regular meeting of <br />September 3, 1975, be approved, Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, Rukavina, Cushing, G. Johnson <br />and Grauel. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 917 " Scott Barrett request for division of lot at 887 Parker Avenue <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Hr, Scott Barrett indicated that his existing home would be on one of the newly created <br />lots and that he proposed to sell the other lot. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Grauel indicated that the City Plarmer had commented in his report that the City may <br />want to consider the feasibility of extending Burke Avenue through to Victoria rather than <br />leave Burke as such a long dead end or cuI de sac. <br /> <br />Mr. Rukavina stated that as a member of the Fire Department he favored a feasibility study <br />of extending Burke through to Victoria because of the problem of turning a fire truck <br />around on the street as well as access to the area, if Burke Avenue were blocked. <br /> <br />Hr, Barrett indicated that he would probably sell the property in the spring. <br /> <br />Hr. Grauel suggested that the Commission could reconunend approval of ~1r. Barrett's appli- <br />cation and also reconunend that a feasibility study for the extension of Burke be considered <br />by the City Council, <br /> <br />Reconunendation <br /> <br />My, Rukavina moved and Mr. G. Johnson seconded, that the COJmnission recorrunend approval of <br />Scott Barrett's request for division of lot at 887 Parker Avenue with the condition that <br />the necessary right~of~way be dedicated for either the extension of Burke Avenue or the <br />construction of a cul de sac and the Commission further reconunends that the City Council <br />consider conducting a feasibility study for the extension of Burke Avenue through to <br />Victoria Street. Roll Call, Ayes: Kellett, RuJavina, Cushing, G. Johnson and GraueL <br />Nays: None, <br /> <br />Planning File 923 - Theresa Unger request for division of lot at 519 Heinel Drive <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />~tt, George ~~mbrez, representing Mrs. Unger, indicated that the proposal would create <br />two lots of almost one acre each, He stated that Mrs. Unger had originally wanted to <br />create three lots; however, the frontage on Heinel Drive was not sufficient to do so. <br />
