Rukavina, Cushing, G, Johnson and GraueL Nays: None, <br /> <br />Planning File 925 ~ Robert Ashbach request for division of lot at 1910 County Road C <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr, Robert Ashbach indicated that he proposes to divide his property into two parcels, <br />one of which will be sold to Casci Decorators and the other parcel to be sold in the future, <br />He indicated that there is a potential buyer for the other parcel. <br /> <br />Mr, Ashbach commented that he has received an acknowledgement from the railroad to use the <br />existing access accross the railroad tracks for both of the proposed parcels. He stated <br />that he has also made a down payment to the railroad for the purpose of installing another <br />crossing of the railroad for the second parcel so that each parcel would have its own <br />access, <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Mr, Kellett moved and Mrs. Cushing seconded, that the Commission recommend approval of <br />Robert Ashbach's request for division of lot at 1910 County Road C. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 926 <> Ray Kroiss request for preliminary plat "White Oak Hills fu. 2" <br />and rezoning from R-3A to R-2 at 3030 North Cleveland Avenue <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Mr. Ray Kroiss indicated that the proposes to rezone the property from R-3A to R-2 and <br />plat it for 12 lots, <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Mr. Dahlgren indicated that Mr, Kroiss had originally proposed a cuI de sac on his property. <br />At Mr, Dahlgren's suggestion he is dead ending the street at the east property line. <br />Mr, Dahlgren recommended this des ign so that the road could eventually be extended to the <br />east to serve the two long parcels extending north to County Road D, Members of the Schulze <br />family who own one of the long parcels were present at the meeting and indicated their agree- <br />ment with MY, Dahlgren's proposal, <br /> <br />Mr Sam Cave~ who is developing the other long parcel, also indicated his support of the <br />proposal. <br /> <br />Mr, Robert Thompson, resident on Cleveland Avenue, indicated that personally he had no <br />objection to the plat or the R-2 zoning. However, he expressed concern that the appli- <br />cant has already violated the fil] permit which was given to him after his previous appli- <br />cation for a plat to the north of the one presently proposed. The pond is completely <br />ruined because of the filling which Hr. Kroiss has done. Hr. Thompson indicated that his <br />primary concern was whether or not this rezoning and plat would mean that the pond was <br />going to be destroyed, <br />
